Help me out, first game in Phoenix

Let me put all my cards on the table and say I am a life long Blazers fan living in the SW.

If you are still reading please let me in on the best way to get to games. I am hoping there is some sort of park and ride available, or maybe a rail system to the stadium. I am coming from Albuquerque so I dont really have a good way of figuring this stuff out.

Hope I see some of you at the game. I will be wearing a Martell Webster shirt and hoping that the Blazers can get a win.

Any advice on this would be helpful.

Not to informative, and it does not have any potential suitors for Miles and his 10 game suspension and balky knee's. I wrote the author an email to see if he could clarify why it is "inevitable" that Miles would be signed. I will post the answer if I get a reply.

Any thoughts on where Miles might land if things are so "inevitable"?

It is late, I have a cold I cant shake, and there is no junk drawer up yet.

I watched the movie clay pigeons with my girlfriend tonight. I think it is a very underrated film with an excellent performance by Vince Vaughn. Earlier in the afternoon we finished watching Fire in the Sky. That movie scared the junk out of me when I was a kid. Getting excited about watching olympic track cycling but the yags who run nbc cant be bothered to put in online yet. All I can say is that if Theo Bos were American no one would care about Michael Phelps. I dont know why but I can muster any enthusiasm for what he has done. I guess the terrorists have won again.

I am such a slob that I just leave my trash in drawers rather than disposing of it in the proper receptacle (fanshot.).

I always get excited about the Olympics and then I never watch them. I did watch the end of the road race and I have to say it was rather unexciting. Cancellera was the only impressive thing. He bridged to Rogers and the Russian and then pulled them up to the leading 3. That dude is made of some hard bark.

I really like the term "hard bark" after I heard it in no country for old men, but I have a hard time using it in casual conversation.

"Drop Dead" what a great free throw chant. I am going to start using that at all games I go to including my niece's pee wee bball (or whatever they call it games.)

Also, DropDead just happens to be one of the most amazing bands ever. We could all chant Drop Dead while DropDead was playing. That would be hella tuff.

Time again to fill up the junk drawer with the bile of blazers edge. Hopefully you have all repented for your monday-saturday sins and are ready to start a holier and more sanctified version of the junk drawer.

Now, as is so popular in these posts, let me add a few non sequiturs to get things started off right.

I am finally getting a bike with gears on it. I just ordered the last of the parts and then I will be in gear city. My knees hurt and I am tired of being lumped in with hipster trash just because I ride a fixed gear. I get it all ready. I look like a hipster, but I have looked this way for the past 10 years and I am too lazy to change so I am just going to have to ride it out (pun intended.). I loathe hipsters and their garbage music. I am not interested in your silly bands that are just rehashing new wave bands that I previously loathed. Get the Bad Brains s/t and learn what awesomeness really is.

Also, I just watched forgetting Sarah Marshall on Dheepan's recommendation. It was not half bad. I would give it 3.5 starts on netflix if netlix got with the program and gave me the ability to give half star ratings to movies. I also should not have watched this movie as it was very sentimental and made me miss my gf who is out of town right now. I wish I knew how to keep these tears from flowing and this heart from hurting, but I dont.

When is the next Sherman Alexie post going to happen. His stories make me run through a gamut of emotions which scares and entertains me. We are really lucky that he has taken time to acknowledges us at all.

I should probably stop now as stream of conscious writing is for dirty bongo playing beats.

I always liked Dickau. It is too bad he didnt make it bigger in the nba. At least he got one fat contract from Danny Ainge. I wonder if Dickau and Scalabrine ever just high five for an hour over how much money they got out of Ainge.
