Being the baseball dork that I am, I'll sometimes be alone in my room pitching an imaginary ball or a crumpled up piece of paper against the wall, fine-tuning my delivery. After I got out of the shower today, I grabbed a rolled-up pair of socks and started my usual routine when I thought of something Zito said about his new delivery in Spring Training. He said he'd practice it in front of a mirror. So, I grabbed my full-length mirror, propped it against the wall, and began pounding my socks against the wall right above it when all of a sudden: BAM! I hit the mirror and broke it. The first thing I thought was, "Shit. Seven years of bad luck." Then, it dawned on me. I immediately ran to the computer and typed this out.

Whatever, I thought it was funny.

Should John Bowker play 1B?

Hey, long time/first here. So like the title says, does anyone who has seen Bowker play think he can handle 1B? Or that he should even try 1B? He throws left-handed and appears offensively to be a better than Ortmeier. Would it be smart for the Giants to have him work w/ JT and try to start at 1B this yeah in Fresno?
