Per Orangebloods, Jamarkus McFarland, 5 star DT prospect out of Lufkin, is set to take his official visit to the Baylor game this Saturday.  I hope he will see a good thrashing laid up on the Bears.  I think he took his official visit to LSU 2 Saturdays ago.  Are the chances of us landing him good?

Also, does anyone have any updates for Kennard or Kirkpatrick?  I know they are both out-of-staters, but we are still on their lists.  How many scholarships do we have left?

Have there been any updates regarding his status for Saturday?  Some folks that I have talked to seem to suggest that he will be playing and the reason he has been out for so long is that we wanted to "save him for the OU game," and did not want to risk further injury in a game we can win without him. 

I do not know how much stock I put into this assertion, given that throwing a redshirt freshman to a very good Land Thieves defense does not make much sense.  I can see us wanting to get some more touches so he can be more comfortable finding holes and what not.  Whatever the reasoning is, it has already happened and I am hoping that he is ready to go on Saturday.  Anybody heard anything? Could anybody provide some info on seats in this area?  I've never sat there before and I recently got tickets for seats there.  The Ranger website doesn't provide anything for the club terrace, just the Lexus club box.   I would really appreciate it.

Last I heard he was in Venezuela for winter ball.  He split 2007 with AAA Omaha and AA Wichita.  Now I can't seem to find him on any rosters in the Royals organization.  Did he get hurt?  He had pretty godo numbers at AA and I was hoping he could continue that at AAA, but he's nowhere to be found.  Does anybody know anything?
