Just as I suspected
They don't have a clue what they're doing down there in JAX
620 post ruckus condensed-not directly Titans related
So for anyone who missed last night's marathon about Jacksonville cutting Garrard, it was an MCM instant classic. Since much of it has understandably been deleted, I'm going to try to recreate the gist for those who are interested and missed it. If this FanPost is inappropriate, feel free to delete it, and accept my apology.

holdouts, cheap FO, salary cap, etc.
There have obviously been a ton of comments on Cort and CJ in the past day. There is an undercurrent of a debate regarding whether our FO is cheap and screws players or not. I'm going to try to set this straight (and perhaps even get set straight myself).
My understanding of the new CBA is that teams must spend at least 99% of the salary cap this year. If this is the case, there are 2 ramificaitons:
1. The team can not be "cheap." It's gotta spend that money somewhere.
2. Players holding out for more money are not "sticking it to the man," they're sticking it to their fellow players. Since the roster size is capped, and the total salary cap must be spent, they can't get extra money from Bud, only from one of their teammates.
If I were Mike, I would ask Cort and CJ to tell me which of their teammates they would like to see cut to give them more money.
Am I missing something?

Quinton Ganther
Quinton Ganther just got released by the Seahawks. Any takers?
Always a new cliche
Someone posted before the game about getting props for reciting a football cliche. Every year they beat a new phrase to death. Is there some conference that decides this during the offseason or something?:
2007: exotic blitz package
2008: steps up in the pocket
2009: ballhawk/unflappable
2010: provide a spark(?)
I know this has come up before, but what is the consensus on the best free place to watch online? I just moved to London...
#1 dude who has got to go
I find all this talk about who should play QB less than entirely relevant to the overall troubles we're having. So I want to ask, who is the first person we should fire and when? My vote, unquestionably, is FRED GRAVES, the sooner, the better. He has done absolutely nothing for us, just as he did nothing for the Lions and Browns before him. Every receiver he has coached on these 3 teams has CHRONICALLY underachieved.
I would like to here other fans thoughts
