Just read this article about Patrick Kane getting arrested in Buffalo on www.detnews.com


It got me to thinking about how Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the NFL, suspends and punishes his players for their actions, if Gary Bettman will do the same. 

I'd like to hear your opinions on this incident and what you think would be appropriate actions taken by the NHL.

Just read this article from WoW Sports, where it states that Crosby snubbed Lidstrom during the post game hand shake.  I did not see this during the handshake as all the attention was on Hossa.  This is the first time that I have read this, but if this is true this speaks highly of what a low-class act Sidney Cosby is, and just gives me more reason to hate him and wonder why Bettman thinks he is the face of the NHL.  I believe it to be pretty credible as there is no reason to not believe Draper, whose comment about the situation was right on.

Anyway, has anyone else seen this or read anything regarding this?

Well, since I was at work and didn't really have the chance to watch the game, I can't inject my thoughts about where the Wings went wrong.  But, from scrolling through the live blog on mlive.com, it looks like the Wings were out played from the start.

Now that this series has gone from a Best-of-7 to a Best-of-3, does anyone think that its possible for the Wings to drop 4 of 5?  Or will this be a series in which the home team wins at home? 

An interesting article I read today in the Detroit Free Press written by a British journalist who's covering the Stanely Cup playoffs.  Just wondering what most of you bloggers felt about this, or more accurately what those of you who HAVE to watch Versus think of this article, as I assume those who have CBC prefer to watch that.

I have been up stewing over this hit.  Well actually I am at work, and bored.  But I have read and listened to numerous accounts and points regarding this hit.  With the best coming from Mike Milbury, on Coast-to-Coast during the 2nd intermission.  Milbury states, "That the NHL needs to put Halleren (sp) and Jackson on a bus and out of the playoffs."  Seriously, the NHL is becoming the "NO Hitting League"
