Hey guys I've been checking in to this site for about 2 years now.  I love all the enthusiasm over the rays.  We have a hell of a team.  The one thing we don't have is a commitment form our fans to get to the games.  These guys I know started a shuttle service in Tampa that offers you a ride to the game plus a complimentary ticket to the game for super cheap!  They were just like me and sick of hearing peoples' excuses about how far a drive it is, and the 20 bucks it costs to park.  So now they are offering a ride + a ticket for as little as 25$.  They have been having a lot of success, and people are loving the stress-free ride to the games.  If people want to really represent the team and show up in person for a hell of a good deal they should check out www.thetropstop.com.  They are good guys and offering a great service.  Lets get to these games people!!!

As most of yall probably know, the Rays had a pre-draft deal in place with Lincecum to take him 3rd overall in the 06 draft, but when Longo was still on the board we took him instead.

I've been wondering since I learned of this a while back whether we would be a better team with Lincecum or with Longo.

So I figured I'd ask everyone here which team would be better... The team as it is now or Rays with Lincecum but Longoria-less??

Also, 2008 Rays + Lincecum? How would that season have been different?

Provided we sign one of the DH options, what lineup do you think the team should have??

Personally I'd like to see Upton moved to leadoff and Aki dropped to 6th... Upton takes a lot of walks and K's a lot with RISP and also looked good out of the leadoff spot the few games he was there. As for Aki, he's done an adequate job as the leadoff, but really hit well in the 6 hole in 07 when he was there.

I know the lineup will depend a lot on whether the DH bats left or right with all the emphasis Maddon puts on alternating left and right handed hitters at the top of the lineup, but I just wanna check out what lineups people want to see in 09
