Chester Frazier to round out K-State staff
Chester Frazier, who played for Weber at Illinois, is the slated to be the final member of Weber's coaching staff.
He's been responding positively to tweets from KSU people, plus a couple "EMAW" tweets, so it looks like it is a done deal.
Emmanuel Lamur signs with Bengals
Manny Lamur has agreed to terms with the Bengals following a weekend workout with the team.
Mark Simoneau elected to Hall of Fame
Mark Simoneau joined Jimmy Johnson, Ty Detmer, Art Monk, and several others in this year's College Football HOF class.
Another great honor for a small-town Kansas kid who had a big impact during his time wearing Purple.
ESPN talks about Kansas State in 2012
The College Football Live team talks about Kansas State in 2012.
Oh, and they actually did some homework, so there is that
K-State most profitable athletic department
I must say, Currie is doing one heck of a good job on the monetary side of things. Now, Hopefully that surplus is going to get re-invested into the facilities and programs, and endowments to keep that support up for the future.
Illinois strength coach joins Weber at KSU
Austin Meek reporting that Jimmy Price has officially joined Weber's KSU staff as the Strength & Conditioning coach.
Of all the previous staff coaches, I think Greenawalt will be missed most, followed closely by Underwood.
Angel Rodriguez will STAY at K-State
The next big step towards basketball success next year has been secured.
We can now celebrate
Bruce Weber Contract
It has been discussed, so I figured I would give an easy link to anyone who wants to see what kind of compensation our new Men's Basketball Coach will be getting.
K-State WBB is the 8 Seed
The Lady Cats are dancing too, opening against #9 seed Princeton in CT. if they make it past the Tigers, they will most likely face #1 seed UConn.
Looks like an early-exit scenario, but continues K-State's streak of getting its teams into their respective post seasons!
Snyder Finalizes 2012 Football Staff
HCBS and the Athletic Department finally make an official announcement regarding football staff. Included in what we knew about Hayes and Cox, Joe Bob has apparently earned a nice little promotion.
K-State's Extra-Inning Win Completes Weekend Sweep
A good weekend for the Bat Cats, after setting the home-opener attendance record on Friday.
Nick Martini continued his streak of games with a hit that now stands at something pretty awesome (but I can't find the stat for and I can't remember what they said on the radio)
Also, closer James Allen recorded a career high 10 strikeouts in the last 5 innings to get credit for the win.
Wildcats Win in Lawrence, 56-51
With a loss by ISU at Mizzou, this win puts the Cats in a third place tie in the league with OU, and solidifies a first round bye in the Big 12 tourney.
Pretty solid season for our Deb and the ladies!

BCS Standings - October 17, 2010
The Cats are 22nd in the initial BCS standings! The computers have us at 19, the humans don't think the boys are quite that good...but good news for the Cats anyways!

Bryce Brown to enroll at Kansas State
Looks like Bryce will be at K-State next year no matter what. Also, Robinett actually has something out in front of the other local media outlets...for once.
K-State's Martin tells teachers kids haven't changed, but adults have
Another reason to love Frank...he's not just a coach, but an educator too.
Frank Martin has raised the bar at K-State
Decent write up from ESPN's Andy Katz. Oh, and Freddy will be here this year, not next...
Column: Crystal ball time
Funny post from the ku beat writer at the Capitol-Journal. I happen to agree with his thoughts on Nov. 6...
Source: QB Masoli headed to Ole Miss
Apparently Masoli looked at coming to K-State. Would have been an interesting addition to the mix-up at QB and probably could have started.
Krause recounts buyout bargain
Interesting read... I especially like the part where Krause tried to sell his soul to Prince to nullify the MOU.
Lawrence to walk on at KSU
Both Williams and Lawerence? Should be fun in a couple years.
Williams to enroll at KSU
It remains to be seen if Omari Lawrence will still come to K-State without any scholarships available.
Sutton to leave KSU basketball
Sutton leaving, Lawrence will get his scholarship. Still seems strange that a three year starter is leaving before his senior year.

Texans want Houston in Big 12
I actually think this is a great idea. especially if we can add Memphis too (FedEx CEO has offered $10 million to any BCS conference that takes them, partly because his son is on the football team).
Colorado leaves Big 12 for Pac-10
Well its official now, no "sources" on this one, just cold hard fact. The only question now is, who is next?
Report: Huskers, Mizzou face ultimatum
Finally playing hardball?
Bears draft K-State's Moore
I still can't believe Moore was the only Cat taken this weekend. Mastrud should have easily gone, he's such a great character guy and he is a solid athlete.
K-State Edges Baylor for Series Sweep
The second conference series sweep so far this year, and continuing to add to the best start in school history.
CB Moore declares for NFL Draft
Odd move for Moore, as he probably won't be taken any higher than 6th round and most likely not at all...
