LP Field Titan Pro Shop:Jerseys
Gramsey Requested a rundown on the jerseys there if i went. I did and they are open 10-6 Mon-Sat. Here is who
they have.
28- Chris Johnson
10- Vince Young
12- Justin Gage
18- Kenny Britt
5 - Kerry Collins
85- Nate Washington
2 - Rob Bironas
33- Michael Griffin
They don't really have many defensive players, but there were some Vanden Bosch and one Keith Bulluck jersey.
They also had Crumpler and White. Those four were on sale I think the sign said %50 off but don't quote me. Then
they had this other rack that some that made me laugh. Pacman, Woolfolk, Bennett, Henry and maybe one or two
more that i'm forgetting. I checked the Titans Pro Shop online and they have Derrick Morgan and Stephen Tullock.
So gramsey they don't have more there (unless you count the ex-Titans) and they cost you $7 more there than
online. I still got a CJ jersey since i wanted it for the game Thursday. So anyone wanting to buy a jersey do so
online, unless you want a Rob Bironas jersey not available online.
trying to buy a jersey
hey i'm in nashville visiting and wondering if anyone on here knows if the pro shop at lp field is open only on game days or if they have a schedule of some sort? thanks to anyone who can help
Buffalo might be trading Roscoe Parrish
He could solve our return game with Carr gone.
Jay Cutler and Parents Selling Homes in Denver
This probably means nothing, but still a little interesting.
St. Louis Rams Release WR Torry Holt
So do you guys think we will take a shot at him now that it won't cost us any picks?
Defensive end Julius Peppers let the Carolina Panthers know he is looking for a change of scenery.
Our line is great but wouldn't it be nice to have this monster.
Matt Cassel?
I saw this poll on ESPN.com that asked "Would you want your team to pursue Matt Cassel this offseason?". I say why not? I wouldn't want them to get in some kind of bidding war, but I say make an offer. Kerry Collins is older and at the backside of his career, and Vince Young has questions still left to be answered. I don't want to upset anyone, but IF Matt Cassel continues to play well and making good decisions consistently I think you can't look and see what it would cost ya.
So I thought I would put the same poll here to see what everyone thought. I also added an extra option I felt need to be there.
WR Position
Are we not going to sign any of these guys that are WR and working out for them or is this just so they can say they are trying to improve but there not seeing anything that would improve this roster. I personally have a hard time believing that none of these guys could improve our reciever position. Our recievers have trouble catching and getting seperation, either by no speed or they can't run a route. To me thats two of the top things a reciever needs to have, I know i'm saying something everyone has already said but, I just wanted to know what you guys think about the guys that have came and worked out for us.
OT: Bonnaroo
hey everyone i'm very happy to say i'm writing this in nashville this morning, and soon will be heading to manchester to go to bonnaroo. For the ones that don't know what that is its a big 4 day music festival held in manchester, TN every year. But i think i'm more happy just being back in nashville. i used too live here but moved about six years to southeast GA, so just wanted to say it fells good to be back here, just wish it was football season. well guys hope yall have a good next 4 days as i am.
Chaz Schilens?
Has anyone ever heard of this guy? These are his numbers from his pro day.
" WR Chaz Schilens (6-4, 208): Ran the 40 in 4.38 and 4.39, had a 43-inch vertical jump, 10-foot, 3-inch long jump, 4.25 short shuttle, 6.84 cone drill, and ran position drills.
I found them on nfl.com and I never heard of him but those numbers are pretty good. Just wondering if anyone heard of him or about what round in the draft he would be in.
MLB Review
Fisher said that players "typically" don't loose their job due to injuries, and also said that he is not read to say that he would be opening the competition back up in training camp.
After Fowler was injured and I got to see Tulloch play. I would love to see him open up the competition. Fowler played well but thats all I can call it "well". Tulloch in those last few games was everywhere on the field running sideline to sideline and always around the ball.
Anyway the whole reason for this diary is that I was reading another diary wrote By dsp82, and he mentioned a lot of things that i agreed with except one main thing. He said, "We need a playmaker between Thornton and Bulluck, someone who run side to side. I'm not sold on Fowler or Tullock at this position.
I think we are in no need of a new MLB but, now I have to know what everyone thinks about this so I'm going to do this poll.
Joy Kat IS NOT A FAN
joy kat during the JAX game thread you said this.
I am a fan of the team. VY is NOT a quarterback. I am not a fan of him, HE costs the team games.
Joy Kat
If you didn't know Vince Young is apart of this team, also he IS a quarterback.
Something else I would like to know is how can you put any of our three losses on VY.
Collins is not much of a winner. He went to the superbowl (on Tiki Barber's legs) once.
Besides that he can throw down field, he sucks, and to throw down field the O Line
has to provide a lot of time because he can't create any with his legs. Plus the fact that
as a Titan he has 1 win.
I know thats my definition of a Winner.
So JOY KAT you are simply not a fan of the titans.
Not to brag but...
well think that I might be the first one on this sight that will see our Titans in regular season action.
If you haven't figured out I live close to the Jacksonville area, and i just bought tickets to the first regular season game. I know everyone here knows what game that is.
This is a pretty boring diary but this is the ONLY chance I have to see the two toned blue in person. I fortunately do get to watch them every week thanks to Direct TV, but nothings the same as seeing them moving around right before you eyes. Though its still not as awesome as sitting in LP field and screaming the same time as everyone else, yeah I pretty much look crazy screaming and yelling when everyone else is just sitting. Being at home is much more exciting, but hey at least I get to see them play.
For anyone wondering why I am a titan fan, I am from Nashville just moved here about 5 years ago. I keep up with them pretty good for being over 500 miles away.
Also for anyone wondering about my seats. They are in between the 40 and 50 yard line. HELL YEAH.
BIG Play of the day.
Vince Young and Courtney Roby hooked up on a 45 yard toss and catch. This is what C. Roby said about it.
"It was just an excellent read on both parts," Roby said. "I made a break, Vince read it and threw a perfect pass and that's what we are looking forward to having throughout the year."
It looks like that trip to Houston with Vince maybe paying off. I know its to early to tell for sure, but football actually being here has got me very optimistic.
I really hope one of the other young receivers besides B. Jones breaks out this year, who I think will have at least some sort of "breakout" year.
Well lets hope M. Griffin makes some big plays today, and everyone else too for that matter.
Here's a question for everyone.
Griffin will be in tomorrow.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans had all their draft picks except Michael Griffin on the field Friday afternoon for the start of training camp. Griffin, the 19th overall pick, will be around Saturday after agreeing to terms by the time the first practice ended.
General manager Mike Reinfeldt walked out as coach Jeff Fisher talked to reporters and gave him the news that the Griffin had agreed to terms.
"I wanted to give you something to talk about," Reinfeldt said.
Fisher already said he wasn't worried about getting Griffin signed and that he thought they were close to filling out the paperwork. Fisher said they will start the former Texas safety at cornerback to see if he can help fill the void left by the season-long suspension of Adam "Pacman" Jones.
Griffin had eight interceptions at Texas where he started at free safety last season alongside his twin brother, Marcus. He also blocked eight kicks in his career, including six punts.
The safety was the last to reach terms as the Titans wrapped up the final two of their 10 draft picks Friday.

Tampa Bay cuts Rice. Anyone, who we can get rid of?
I know that Rice would boost our D-line allot. He
had an injury last year but before that was 6
straight seasons with 10 plus sacks.
I don't know exactly how many they keep on there 53
man roster but if theres no room, someone needs to
start packing.
Anyone agree? Also who would you cut?
Moss anyone?
some people think the moss trade is going to happen this morning. i dont know for sure but i think i would take the chance on him if the price is right.
that would let us go defense the first two rounds but, that wouldn't fix the WR position for long it would (assuming no off the field problems) fix it for this year.
Moss is definitely still a playmaker and can do it all. but his character is always a question. dose he want to play?, is he doing drugs?, i don't know but i think if the price is right go for it.
the right price is what the question is. me i think that one of our fourth round picks and a restructured deal is about perfect. if thats enough for him i take the risk.
I would like to know. Whats is everyones price? and would you even take the risk?
