Miami Heat home opener STILL not sold out!
just as we predicted. Terrible, terrible fan base down in Miami. Have fun with 3/4 capacity crowds for playoff games, guys!
Jay Cutler dating Kristin Cavallari of Laguna Beach and the Hills fame
looks like our on-the-field playcallers on both sides of the football have their eyes on LALA land. Cutler is dating party girl Cavallari and Urlacher is shooting spots for Entourage. This isn't encouraging news but I'll hold out hope that it's not completely devastating news either. It seems like a team that's struggling to get their act together on the field should be focused more on the task at hand rather than spending their nights out drinking and chasing tail while implementing a new offense. Then again, who am I to judge? I would probably be doing the same thing. Bear down, Chicago Bears?!?
Haslem email to Sun Sentinel, and, therefore, Heat fans: "Turned down full mid level from Dallas and Denver. See u next season."
btw.. I'm doing this for yfbb
Sweet Home Chicago
Let me start off by saying that I have long been in the camp that thinks this Bulls team would benefit most from bringing in a veteran low-post scorer/pick-and-roll partner for Derrick Rose, i.e. Chris Bosh, Amar’e Stoudemire, Carlos Boozer, etc… That being said, a light went off in my brain after watching the LeBron James MVP ceremony in Ohio over the weekend. I felt the same way after watching the press coverage that Chris Broussard (ESPN) states in his recent interpretation of the event.

I think LeBron will stay in Cleveland and sign a long-term extension with the Cavaliers regardless of their final outcome this season. My opinion on the matter is, for the most part, right in line with that article.

Suntimes' Bulls Coverage
The Chicago Suntimes usually overlooks the Bulls in their sports coverage but they have two recent articles up giving end of season opinions/oberservations. After reading these articles I think it becomes even more apparent as to how little they have actually followed this team throughout the season.

2010 most disappointing Bull: Brad Miller?
This is according to CBS sportsline's Dave Del Grande. He ranked the most disappointing player from each team in his most recent column after naming the all-around MDP/coach for the league.
Bulls players in drunken altercation
I saw this at the bottom of the Tribune story about Ben Gordon's struggles since joining the Pistons. Thought I'd just copy it over here and see if anyone had heard anything of it or had any comments about it. Seemed a little interesting to me.
Layups: The Bulls no longer allow alcohol on the team charter, sources said. Coach Vinny Del Negro instituted the rule with management support after a verbal incident between two players that started on a recent flight and resumed in a hotel lobby. Like most teams, the Bulls already prohibited alcohol on flights to Chicago because players drive home from O'Hare. ...
Tribune
Can the Tribune cool it with the DWade to the Bulls stories at this point? After two games into the 09-10 season, the last thing I want to read about right now is the potential free-agent signing of DWade next year.. I know this season is about making the team into a contender for next year but it still feels premature to speculate about what could be next season. If they don't get DWade or Bosh next year does that automatically qualify that season as a bust? If so, should I have little to no hope for the future of this franchise?
