The Tuna always signs someone at the start of FA. Last yr he had Smiley signed at 12:01am. Who do you think he will have signed at the stroke of Midnight this yr? My guess is........

Justin Leonhard SS for the Baltimore Ravens.

This guy was all over the field last yr and I think we will let Bell walk if they don't come to an agreement by the start of FA. I like Bell but I think this kid Leonhard is about to make his mark. He is a good defender, great tackler in the open field and he returns punts, which means if he gets a pick he could take it to the house. I could see the Pats trying to get this kid too, if they out bid us for him then we go back to Bell.

Whos your choice and why?

Hey guys, I found this link on another site. It can be helpful to us fans outside of the Miami area on what games you will get in what market. Unfortunetly I will have to find a game online or go to a bar this Sunday. Come to think of it we all might be looking for a place to watch the game if there is a blackout........

LEADERSHIP

It's nice to see Zac Thomas getting his props from the Cowboys media and fans when it comes to Leadership. It makes you wonder if we let the wrong guy go. I can only guess what type of work out warrior Zac would be in our off season, working out with the team. Especially coming off a 1-15 season. Any player with a ounce of pride would be busting there butt off this year if they had to endure such an inept season as the one with just finished with. I can see Zac now, first one in Davie every morning and one of the last to leave. Mentoring our young rookies on how to prepare your bodies and mind for the upcoming training camp. Here a quote from the article

"Leadership is shown by actions," Thomas said. "If you're making plays and doing everything the right way - doing what they're telling you to do in the weight room, showing up for everything, being consistent and being accountable - that's leadership. It's not giving a great pep talk. If you give a great pep talk and do all the right things and don't play well, there really isn't much leadership there. My leadership is coming in and playing well and getting the respect of my teammates

That's the type of guy I want as Captain of my Football Team. Showing up for Everything. I think I will miss Zac more than I thought.

http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2008/05/zach-thomas-definition-of-leadership.html

We are the main players in the Offseason. We have the number 1 pick and 44 million to spend in FA. All that pain we had to go through last season and this is the reward. A competent front office and coaching staff, A Owner who wants to win. I can see it now. On Draft day, ESPN camped out in Miami with the whole world watching trying to
guess what the Tuna gonna do. This is great and FA hasn't started yet. You guys are doing a great job bringing up to date info to us with links. Keep it up because the info coming fast and the rumors will be many. I love it!!!!!!

Cowboys lose Gaine after all

Looks like the scout from the cowboys will be joining us in 7 days. According to the Dallas Morning News.

The Cowboys lost their second member of their personnel department when assistant director of pro scouting Brian Gaine resigned on Tuesday, according to two sources.
Owner and general manager Jerry Jones had allowed Gaine to join new general manager Jeff Ireland and executive vice president of football operations Bill Parcells in Miami, but the NFL blocked the move.
The league ruled Gaine cannot join the Dolphins for seven days, but he is free to talk to other teams in the interim. Gaine joined the Cowboys in 2005 and worked with Parcells with the New York Jets.

Keyshawn`

Rumor has it Keyshawn is getting ready to come out of retirement. I wonder what team he's going to sign with? Don't be surprise if Keyshawn signs as a TE. He played at 220lbs. I bet hes walking around at 250 right now. Turn that into muscle and he would be a a tough match up for any defense. A LB or saftey couldn't cover him and he's a great blocker. The most important asset he brings is the way he prepares for games and he knows what the tuna wants and will pass that on to the team. What do you think about bringing Keyshawn on board with a friendly two year contract?
