You know it's amazing, I was listening to the game on aggie radio, and even they could see that our offense literally, and immediately changed for the better once Potts was replaced. That sucks, but it's true.... c'est la vie. Now that we won't be seeing Potts anymore, I'm excited to see Doege lead this team. I think he'll do just fine, and easily better than Potts. Is anyone else pumped up about this? Or is everyone worried. I think we have a lot to be excited about.

1. Efficiency. Look at the stats.

2. Footwork. Look at your TV screen.

3. Leadership. The team seems to prefer him.

4. Production. 7 TD's. 1 pick. 490 yards.

5. Appearances. We simply look so much better with Gloves in charge.

Look, Potts is good and all.. but he's got another year to improve. Sticks is ready for the reins. He has outperformed Potts in one crucial area.... game production. The only logical choice is to go with proven game production. Gloves has shown that he is the man. Pure and simple. Potts is good, but he falls short of SS in one crucial statistic, real-time, game production.

The Dallas Cowboys have traded up for extra fourth round picks and one of their selections was Brandon Williams. Incidentally, another of their selections was TAMU QB Stephen McGee. Good news for both players. Kind of where I expected Williams to go. Congrats to both. I hope Bwill makes the team. Also, it's nice to finally see more Red Raiders in the draft. A trend I'm sure we'd all like to see continue.

Assuming all sign, which seems like it may be a possibility considering signing day is only 1.5 weeks away....By my last count there are arguably (by that I mean, depends on what site or source one references) 6 four star athletes. That's more than I can ever remember Tech having in one year. Even if it's only 5, or even 4, (Wade and Ward are rock solid going to TTU) wouldn't that still be enough for this to be theoretically, the best class ever. I understand much hinges on later production but, just by HS ranking? Am I wrong to be very excited about these young fellas? I know that our classes are still a far cry from Texas' list, but whatever. That depends a lot on future development, which I believe Benny Wylie is a master at. Thoughts?

Only because they won their NC in '39. I know it means they aren't sure when he formally took over, however, is not this the kind of thing simple, exhaustive, research can uncover? Do they care when ol' boy started? Or if he was even really the AD at the time of the championship? No big deal, just weird. Is Tech's history as unknown? Texas? UH? Rice? etc? Am I just off way base?
