just like the rest of us, i live mostly, in the sports world, by the good and bad, the wins and loses, accumulated by our men's basketball and football teams.  some nights i can not watch the tv and some morning i cannot read the newspaper.  but i wonder what everyone thinks was more improbable three years ago:  a trip to omaha for the college world series or a chance to win the women's final four.
