Things I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy
Thoughts and prayers go out to Robert and his family
But this much can be said with certainty about the involvement of the Burkle Group: NBA Commissioner David Stern is doing backflips back in his Manhattan office. He needed this. He wanted this. He has been waiting years, decades even, for someone with the financial capital of a Ron Burkle to make an appearance in Sacramento.

The replacements for the Olympic pioneers consisted of Mitch Richmond, an expert and versatile point-maker who didn’t play much defense;
I couldn't help but post this. Hey Charley why don't you ask MJ if The Rock played any D.
11 strange things LeBron James said during 'The Decision'
It's good to laugh at the 'King'
I am more than willing to say the Kings are about 25 games away from being on the level in terms of overall talent in comparison to the Thunder or Blazers, except they are the antichrist version.
NBA does its best to deny Reke ROY
Player A: 19.8 Points, 4.3 Rebounds, 7.3 Assists And 1.79 Steals In 14 Games
Player B: 19.4 Points, 6.9 Rebounds, 7.5 Assists And 1.6 Steals in 12 Games
Seems like an easy decision but what do I know. Reke's a chucker!
EJ out in already in Philly?
Eddie does his best E-Muss impression
Why I Almost Crashed My Car Today
I hate to say it but it happened. As I was driving home from school today, Peaches mentioned something I actually think is a good idea. This is a rare occurrence as his pure douche baggery tends to lead him to spout off at the mouth without regard to reality. But I digress, it did happen. What did he say?

The View from Section Jew14 (3rd rate kangsfan edition)
The wife and I attended our third game of the year and hoped for a third victory. Sadly it wasn't so. Here's the recap:

FoxSports: KMart is 9th best 2 guard in the league
I'd place him around 6th or 7th but it's nice to see Kev get the respect he deserves.
Kings Make Right Choice In Evans
Nothing really shocking here, but pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about the Evans selection. Enjoy...
S&T for David Lee?
What do you guys think of #4 and K9 for Lee? Not sure we would want to part with both bargaining chips like that but it is worth a discussion.
Kings Make Another Minor Deal to Cut Costs
Bobby Brown and Shelden Williams for Calvin Booth and Rashad McCants.
Amare won't go just anywhere
This most likely mean us Ladies and Gents.
1st half Pacific division Report Card
Jason Williams thinks the Kings are poised to have a better second half.
No not that Jason Williams.
Our favorite future All Star gets snubbed again
Most of these national writers are douche bags but I'm always amazed at how Kmart continually flys under the radar and gets left off lists like these.
Oh and sorry if this list has been mentioned on STR before, all these national writers blend into one for me.
A preview of next season by RealGM
The preview seems to actually understand the mindset of what we all have been discussing about Petrie's plans for the future and gives him the respect he deserves. It may be a little generous even, depending on you optimism. My favorite quoteis from the power forward breakdown: "The good thing for Kings fans is none of these guys will be with the club in two years, and unless Williams’ fiancé rubs some talent off on him, he will be gone too."

Miller Suspended
Miller has been suspended for violating the leagues anti drug policy.
Ron Ron's Defense
Last night Ron was on the Carmichael Dave show. Ron neither confirms nor denies the meeting between him, his agent, and GP. He does however, discuss how he thinks he is in the same class as Kobe and CP3, why he is a total jerk, and how he has to provide for his family which will soon include more mini Ron's runnin' around. Listen and enjoy:

Fixing Officiating
My Dad and I have discussed this for a while and neither of us can understand a logical reason (other than the cost) for adding a fourth official to every game. While this may dilute the talent of the officials in the league by adding more, it greatly reduces their responsibilities and pressure to make a call they are not sure about. How often do we see an official make or miss a call that there is no way they could have seen from their position on the court. The cost of the addition of a fourth ref would be quite minimal compared to the salaries of the players or even the increased revenue by producing a better officiated game.
Well what do you guys think? I am wishing for someone to explain why they haven't done this as there have been so many official conspiracy theories and criticism within the last five years.
Donaghy says players fixed games
I dive into dangerous territory when I ask (supposing Donaghy is telling the truth) could the kings themselves have taken part in fixing western conference finals against the Lakers a few years back (or any other games)?
Doug Christie?
Peja?
Webber!?
I'm not saying they did just wondering if you guys think it may be plausible.
(FWIW I think Donaghy is a sack of runny shit and is probably spewing that shit to try to stay out of prison)
