Fred Taylor
Jaguar's fan here and was wondering if you all could tell me how our old favorite running back has been doing so far in training camp? I'm really pulling for Fred to have a great year for you all and hope for the first time that your Patriots win the Super Bowl with him leading the charge. We love that dude and I really want him to pull through for you all. I guess he is behind Maroney on the depth chart, but do you think from a fan perspective that he might actually take carries away from Laurence during the regular season. His work ethic is outstanding. Your organization really knows when to sign veteran players at the tail end of their careers. Joey Galloway is another example of a smart signing. Thanks guys for your time and good luck, just as long as it's not against us in December. JK
Wilford
Jaguar's fan here and was just wondering if Ernest has gotten any better since he's been with your team? I know he had a horrific season last year and is on the verge of being cut/released this year. What's been going on with him since then? I was just curious since he could be a good pick up for us again if he does in fact get cut from the Dolphins. Good luck this season and thank you all for your time. See you in two weeks for the preseason opener.
Talent in the secondary
Going into the season, this team has an abundance of talent in the secondary at DB. Mathis a 2nd round pick, Nelson a 1st round pick, Alexander a 2nd round pick, Cox a 3rd pick, Brian Williams a 3rd rounder I believe from the Vikes and Considine a 4th rounder from the Eagles and bringing back Marlon Mcree too. Throw in all the other DB's we have acquired from other team's practice squad's, Kenard Cox via the Packers, Tyron Brackenridge via the Chiefs and now Carey from the Brown's (all though he won't contribute if at all until next year it seams). Ketchman really likes Kenard as he has publicly stated on JTW and in his column's. I really like the way things are shaping up in training camp thus far. Smith has done an incredible job bringing in plenty of talent to challenge the veterans this season. Should be fun to see how it all plays out. The Jaguars should be able to field an above average secondary with what they've got currently on the roster. What are your thoughts on the DB's so far?
