Amazin' Avenue The Beningo-ization of the Mets Fanbase

The other day I got into a Twitter back and forth with a fellow Knicks blogger who happens to be a Yankees fan. Essentially he was insinuating that the Mets were a jinxed and awful franchise. I only put Mets Blog in quotes because the entries are pretty lengthy. Otherwise, it's actually pretty good so far. I really like the minors report and the series preview. If they keep these features up it shows promise.

" Now that they have officially allowed full season 15 game winners to represent the best in the game, you start to worry about perennial low ERA, high strikeout guys like Vasquez being propelled to the highest level of respect...when they shouldn't. What is the difference how many strikeouts a guy has if they can't ultimately win games?"

Between this and the news of Tony B.'s "Oppo Plan" I think I need some air.
