I know that this is for Vikings related things, but any sports fan should be able to appreciate this event. 

In Raleigh, NC on February 7 there is the Krispy Kreme challenge.  Competitors are required to run 2 miles from NC State University to Krispy Kreme, eat 1 dozen donuts, and run back all in under 1 hour.  Money raised goes to the local children's hospital, and ESPN is even covering it this year.
