Buffalo Rumblings I need some advice from my fellow Bills fans...

Hello, fellow rumblers. I come on this site once in a while to see how my fellow fans are feeling about the team. I very rarely post, but in this situation it felt all to necessary. I am perplexed and do not know what to do about something, so i am turning to the only people in the world who make sense to me: Bills fans. I have had some consistencies with my fan hood so far this season. Who I watch the game with (my father), how hard I have rooted (After the Bengals game, I ended up with a bad flesh wound, a broken chair, a hole in the wall, and a surprised grandfather whom I probably wont see any time soon), and most importantly; What I've been wearing.

Coming into week one, I wasn't sure how the Bills would do, and to be honest, I didn't have many expectations. I was just so happy that the game was back. Me and my dad decided to go to a sports bar for the KC game. I decided to go old school, and rock the Peerless Price navy blue jersey, since all my other players jerseys I had owned had left the team, or changed numbers. (Darn you, spiller!)With this, I wore bright blue athletic shorts, black gold toe socks, and some Nike Sneakers.

Needless to say, I was blown away with our week 1 success, and I couldn't have been happier. I was sure that it had all to do with the gear, so i figured I'd wear it every Sunday, as long as it helped my Bills win. For week 2, I once again busted out the Price jersey, same shorts, socks, and sneakers, and got excited for the action. At halftime, being down 21-3, I contemplated changing. My father (wisely) talked me out of it, and we came back and won in thrilling fashion. Again, in week 3 i had my doubts and I even changed my socks at halftime, but of course, they pulled it out and I was flying high.

Before the game Sunday, I went through the usual Sunday routine, and taking the Price jersey out of the dryer provided a rare, priceless moment for me (pun intended). I felt like this jersey would be the difference between wins and losses this season. I put it on, and sat in my regular game seat. The whole game, I rooted for my team, and until the clock hit zero, i believed we were going to win that game. Needless to say, I was crushed afterwards, as you can see from the first paragraph, and I started to doubt the gear.

I now ask you, my favorite group of people, to tell me what to do for the game next week, and for weeks to come. The jersey situation I have is pretty Ridiculous. I own: Poz (home, away) Evans, Spiller (21#), Mcgahee, Henry, Flutie, Moulds, Bledsoe, Losman, Takeo, and the infamous Price jersey. I also have various T-shirts, and hoodies, but considering the current situation I'm in, I just don't know how to approach coming weeks. What do you guys think?

p.s.- Great start to the season, and with some luck I think the playoffs are definitley in our future...Thanks for reading and please let me know your opinions!

Buffalo Rumblings For as bad as Buffalo was in 2009, three plays made all the difference....

I'm going too start this post by saying, I was EXTREMELY disappointed by the Bills 2009 season, so don't think I'm saying it was a good year, because that's the last thing I'm trying too say. I'm also going too say that there were 3 or 4 winnable games that we let slip away. That being said, the New York Jets made the playoffs with 9 wins. As did the Baltimore Ravens. As bad as we all feel about the season, we were a few plays away from a potential playoff spot... I'm not going too bore you guys with a 2 hour read on playoff scenarios and such. I'm simply going too show you how the season would've played out had a few things gone differently...

Ok, the first play is a play that you all are very familiar with. The Foxboro Fumble (as my annoying patriot lovin' buddies call it). Its obvious that Buffalo had the win, and our boy Leodis couldn't do something that we see kick returners do 3 or 4 times a game...KNEEL THE DANG BALL! Had he kneeled that, we would've taken a huge chunk out of the remaining clock, and probably would've ended the game with posse" Brady comes out after having a less then spectacular game and throws the winning touchdown. Had we won that game, it would've been the first time we beat the Patriots since the 2003 season opener. That would've been key too a successful season. It also would've been one of the greatest days of my life. Bills fans took it with a grain of salt and moved on too week 2.

The next play that could've won a key game for the Bills, was the Roscoe Parrish fumble against the Cleveland Browns. In what is said too be one of the worst games in NFL history (The winning QB completed 2 passes. Seriously?) The Bills really had nothing going that whole game, accept for that it was tied with less than 2 minutes left to play. If Roscoe catches it cleanly, and makes some moves, the Bills might've been able too pull out an important (albeit unimpressive) victory. Hell, he could've even fair caught the ball, too at least give us a chance at gaining some yards for a winning field goal. He muffed the punt, only too see former Bill Blake Costanzo fall on it inside our 20. The Browns snatched the W. However, too be completely honest, neither team deserved too win this game.

The next play goes fairly un-noticed because it was later in the season, and our record was fairly weak at the time. In the Jaguars game, we controlled most of the tempo for basically the whole game. Not to mention, it was Perry Fewell's first game so as a team, they were definitely pumped up. Late in the game, we had the lead by 6 and we were on the move. Fitzy threw an ugly looking pass too the end zone and Lee Evans came up with a 56 yard touchdown catch. The only problem is, Buffalo's LT Johnathon Scott, grabbed the face mask of a defender, who really had no play on Fitzpatrick. This changed the game as Buffalo ended up punting the ball away, too see the Jags take all the time off the clock, and score in the final minute. It's plays like these that really lose games, and kill seasons...

I just figured I would take a break from all the off season chat, mock drafts, and roster scans, too shed some light on a fairly abysmal season. The 2010 Bills cant do stupid things like this!! Thanks for reading ! =)

Buffalo Rumblings My Prediction for the Buffalo, New Orleans game!

Well this is my first Fan post so bare with me. Buffalo has shown a very strong showing for the first two weeks of the year (something no one thought they were capable of) and if we are goin too beat the explosive saints, we will definitely have too keep it up. There is no doubt in my mind that we have the potential too beat New Orleans, but in order too beat them we will have too do a few key things. First, we will have too convert on third downs. We have done pretty well so far this season, but if we get a lot of three and outs vs. This saints team and we give the ball too drew brees on a short field a lot, we can pretty much kiss this win goodbye. We will also need too stop the saints offense on third downs. If we get them in a lot of third and long situations we CANNOT allow them too convert. Nothing kills a great defensive series like a long third down conversion. Second, we will have too get the ball too our playmakers. I dont mean throw it too T.O and Lee Evans on every play (I'll get too them later) but I mean we gotta get the ball too Fast Freddy in the open field. If we can do that, we can wear down the saints defense, who by the way gave up 27 points too the lions. Now the only time we should hit our 2 big wideoutsa are if their open. On trents Pick last week, he was forcing it too lee. There was like 5 bucs in the area and lee was the lone bill. T.O and lee are very explosive and should be involved, but we shouldnt force it too them. Lastly, we need too make plays on defense and special teams. The last two weeks we have been able too change the game with a huge pick for 6. If we can do that just once too Drew Brees who has thrown 9 TDS in 2 games, we can knock them off their game. Hopefully Leo will be ready by game time so we can have a spark in the return game which we haven't had much of this year, accept for the Roscoe lateral too Youboty, which was pretty cool. Also, we have gotten some pretty good pressure on the QB's this year and if we put Brees on his back a few times it might make a huge difference. Well overall, with the two good offenses Im going too expect a high scoring game. If it comes down too defense, I think buffalo can edge it out. With some tip balls going buffalo's way, I think Drew Brees and the saints are in for a humbling loss too the bills...31-21 Buffalo Hope you enjoyed! tell me what you think and thanks for reading!
