Night Train Lopez?
I was at the game witnessing Lopez fill in admirably for Wilson but my dad told me on KNBR today they were saying that Javier Lopez is nicknamed "Night Train". How the hell did he get such an awesome nickname?

Clarification needed Re: Lincecum
1. If Lincecum's deal is for 2 years, how do we have him for the next 4 years? I don't understand.
2. Why would both sides fly all the way to Tampa and then not have a hearing. Wouldn't the fact that you were flying all the way across the country for a hearing be an incentive to either get the deal done before leaving or actually have the hearing?

Consumer Protection?

Did this deal come with some sort of consumer protection clause? I know that Groeschner, et al were inspecting Sanchez over the weekend, but i am curious if Sabean worked in some sort of protection clause in case Sanchez has some sort of knee issue that is more than just a day-to-day thing. I can't remember the specific trade, but i remember one example of a player going back to his original team for the same or similar trade pieces. I know you have to give up a lot to get a lot, but i am seriously hoping that Sabean made sure that Tim A isn't gone for a lemon.
