Cincy Jungle Maualuga OVI?

Bengals linebacker Rey Maualuga was arrested for driving under the influence early Friday morning.

Covington police arrested Maualuga around 3 a.m. Friday morning in the 600 block of Scott Street for driving under the influence.

The Bengals' 2009 stand-out rookie is charged with operating a vehicle under the influence and was also cited for careless driving.

Maualuga will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. at Kenton County District Court.

Maualuga was the Bengals second round draft pick in 2009 and his rookie season ended in week 16 against the Kansas City Chiefs when he fractured his ankle.

"The Bengals apparently lost their fourth one to injury Tuesday when Marcus Maxwell went down with a torn muscle that threatens to keep him out the first month of the season. Now they'll have to go with Glenn Holt, Antonio Chatman and rookie Jerome Simpson as the top three wides Saturday."
