Nucks Misconduct Should the Canucks keep "Where The Streets Have No Name" as their opening song?

Now I'm not sure if this has been brought up before, but talking with a co-worker several weeks ago, he mentioned he doesn't think U2's "Where The Streets Have No Name" was a good song to open a hockey game. He mentioned Chicago's use of Ted Nugent's "Stranglehold" and LA's use of "Back In Black" as intro songs that get you pumped. I like the idea of using "Where The Streets Have No Name" as opposed to using a song that gets you pumped. I find it more inspiring (as corny as it may sound) and it actually does get me pumped. It gives you goosebumps and sends shivers down your spine in a different way than something harder sounding would. I'd rather save songs that pump you up for goals and the final stages of a game, PK, OT etc... What do you you think? Do you like the song, or what other song should be used instead? Should it stay? Or should it go?

Nucks Misconduct Lukowich recalled by Canucks

Brad Lukowich has been recalled by the Vancouver Canucks from the Texas Stars, as per the Dallas News.  However Lukowich must clear re-entry waivers first.  Would any team try to claim him? In what position does this put our cap, and Pavol Demitra's return to the team? Will anyone be forced to leave as a result of this move?

Here's the news link: http://starsblog.dallasnews.com/archives/2010/01/lukowich-recalled-by-canucks.html

Nucks Misconduct DANIEL, HENRIK, MIKAEL, AND ALEX: THE SWEDELES

Has anybody seen this article on canucks.com? Its really funny, "The Summer of 99" hahaha thats great... Rather smart idea about having a Swedish Cover Band, consisting of our 5 swedes.  Plus another two bits about how Wellwood and Bernier lost weight, and how to pronounce Kevin Bieksa's name...  Actually some pretty funny stuff here, never thought I would be able to find something like this on the Canucks website. Enjoy!
