Warriors Game 4th Quarter Analysis
Gutted about the loss? So am I.
Here's a wonderful play-by-play analysis I read from DB.com boards. Credit to mavsfan81 who spent the time going back through the 4th quarter and coming up with this.
Now, I'm not trying to point any fingers, but I think it speaks for itself. Probably has something to do with Carlise's 'too many minutes' quotes after the game?
You decide.

Beaubois a beast in 2nd Summer League Game
Just thought I'd bring it up after his first poor game. Here's the box score. We lost to Houston by 3pts.

7/12 from downtown reinforces some of the sharp-shooting we saw in the clip posted here at MavsMoneyBall earlier. Personal fouls seems to still be an issue since the first game.
Here's what Rick Carlise had to say.
"He brings us a different dimension. We don't have this kind of angular speed, or supreme-type athlete at the point guard position right now. So he gives us a different look."

Resigning Jason Kidd
Got this excerpt from Yahoo Sports...
You can find the full article here.
Because of his comfort level with his teammates and city, and of course, the chance to get an $8 million-$9 million contract, odds are that free agent Jason Kidd will re-sign with the Dallas Mavericks. Yet, he has an intrigue with the New York Knicks that is mutual, and a Knicks source says they plan to try and meet with him once free agency starts on July 1.
Kidd is considering possibilities with Portland and Cleveland, but he always loved New York a lot more than New Jersey. He built good relationships with Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni and Portland’s Nate McMillan when they were assistant coaches for Team USA.
Barring a sign-and-trade deal, the Knicks would be limited to offering Kidd the midlevel exception.

Lebron interested in... Mavs?
i was a bit surprised to read in an Adrian Wojnarowski column on Yahoo!...Here
'...With the Knicks, there are two teams a source familiar with James’ thinking says intrigue him: The Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.'
obviously i'm not taking it too seriously... interesting read though...
why?... i can understand New York or LA... but why Dallas.... Wojnarowski doesn't even believe that Nets are in the running for him.... (not that we are).... but what does Dallas have to offer that other teams don't...

Iguodala for Josh Howard?
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Trading-Andre-Iguodala;_ylt=AqPntYrSHVZT695.x_wqlmG8vLYF?urn=nba,98268
Kelly Dwyer is proposing 76ers try to pull this deal off as they are struggling to come to terms with AI2's new contract.
I personally think this move is sort of like the one we've been discussing for Josh Smith, and possibly slightly worse. It's one for the future, and I don't really think it puts us in a better position to win it this year.
What do you guys think?
