Dawg Sports LSU is the UGA of the west

Top 10 talent.

Tries like hell to lose games.

Inexplicable coaching decisions.

Oh, i guess the only difference would be that 5-0 record to our 1-4 record.

Why can't we fall ass backwards into wins?

Is LSU the worst 5-0 team ever? Is UGA the best 1-4 team ever? Probably not, to either, but they both sure seem to be around the top of those respective categories. Seriously, how are they winning games? How are we losing games? What is the magical secret? Do deals with the Devil work out better than deals with the Man upstairs?

Dawg Sports Is it Possible?

To have 2 SEC teams in the national Championship? I was doing some research today and I noticed that the SEC is 5-0 in BCS National Title games... pretty impressive. Not sure how my thought process came to this but I was wondering if it's possible for 2 teams from the SEC to face off in the Nat'l Championship game. Here's what I thought could be a likely scenario:

UGA upsets Florida by less than a score, wins out and wins the east.

Alabama contiues dominance and faces UGA in SECCG

Alabama routes UGA, goes undefeated

No other team finishes undefeated.

What's the case that people believe Florida and Bama are still the two best teams in the nation? and finish 1/2 in the polls?

What if i said Fla lost to UGA on some BS call at the end of the game that gave it to UGA.

What if the other one loss teams' one loss was worse?

Would people vote Florida out of 2nd just so it wouldn't be an SEC game? Or would they let this happen.

How about this? UF gets jobbed in Jax, all other one loss teams look bad in thier loss, but BYU goes undefeated (along with Bama).

Dawg Sports Mark Richt: clairvoyant?

Stumbled upon this analysis earlier today and liked the quote:

Before the 2007 season opener, Georgia coach Mark Richt said, "Knowshon Moreno, I know when you get to watch the kid practice every day and see what he does, it gets you excited. He is a very vibrant guy. He could be a gymnast. You can't hide his enthusiasm for life. He will light up his team with his energy level. He will jump over a guy standing on his feet and score. He has got speed, power and agility. People have to respect his power. If (the defense) sends a guy full-speed to try and get him, Knowshon will make them miss

Emphasis Added

This before Knowshon ever started a single game with UGA. Cool, huh?

Dawg Sports UGA vs. OK. ST.

Question:

When was the last time UGA opened up the season ranked lower than it's opponent?

"Your FanPost must be at least 75 words long" ?

Umm. Okay. Yesterady i saw an elderly man punch a large woman in the face on the subway. She would not move in to make room for on-coming passengers. I can understand both of thier frustrations, but is it necessary to hit a woman, no matter how large and able-to-take-care-of-herself she looks?

Please only answer my first question.

Dawg Sports 10-3 in 2009

It's all about perception and expectations. To the causual observer, our season seems like a mild success. But to Dawg fans everywhere, we realize it was one giant waste of talent. If we go 10-3 in 2009, will we consider it a success? In a minor 'rebuilding' year, to win 10 games sounds like a success to me. Without our star talent, 10 games sounds like a success to me. With experienced lines, 10 wins sounds pretty good to me. With new players having to fill 95.5 percent of our offense, I'll take 10 wins and be happy (especially if just ONE of those is against Florida).

Not to beat a dead horse, but this was just the biggest waste of pure talent that Georgia has ever- will ever see. It's not that we can't win with less skilled players (I mean, the Bad News Bears did it, and so did the Giants last year), it's just that it's gonna be a little more difficult, and therefore, more acceptable to go 10-3.

Dawg Sports What happened to

The trading of questions and answers between upcoming team's bloggers?

It's a simple question, but since my blog post must be 75 words, I will continue on. I really enjoyed reading these posts, but I can't seem to remember one since the ASU game.

Unrelated: Both my father and mother went to the University of Florida. They are still good people, but I refuse to talk to them the weeks pre/proceeding this game. My sister went to Auburn, but I have no beef with them. I generally enjoy thier fans. Is that 75 words?
