My name is Ken Pahlas and I am a novice (lack of vocabulary leaves me unable to come up with a better word that means "has no idea what is going on most of the time") supporter of various collegiate and professional sports teams.
I spend some time following the Denver Broncos and find myself uncommitted and uncertain about their future. I fell in love with the Atlanta Hawks as a result of seeing various slam dunk championships dominated by Dominique Wilkins, but have actually watched or paid attention to very few activities in the NBA since the end of the Michael Jordan era. As far as baseball goes, I was a Mariners fan before Griffey, remained a Mariners fan when he left, and am happy for his retirement as a Mariner.
My collegiate loyalties lie squarely with the Boise State Broncos. Many of my earliest and happiest memories involve the rafters of the Pavilion (now grudgingly referred to as Taco Bell Arena) and the top rows of Bronco Stadium. While I don't know or follow the Broncos nearly as much as some, they are a very happy addition to my life.
I spend my days with 600 kids and 70 adults as a school Principal. The rest of the details of my life are quite inconsequential, really.
