Need advice--- thinking about moving back home to KC!
Where is the safest area with the best schools in the KC metro area. Love the open spaces, love to fish, but need a safe place with great education... and close enough to see my Chiefs!

Oakland got Carson Palmer, Denver has Peyton Manning and SD has Rivers. And as usual we went after every position except the single most important one; the QB!! So Cassel is supposed to compete with those guys?

Hello fellow Missourians, we feel your pain, believe me. Question..there are some distant and few rumors about Bradford being ousted for a QB in this years draft. I am not stating ANY facts, this is STRICTLY talk and rumors. Do you think it is possible that the Rams draft a QB in this years draft and trade Bradford or not?

Hello fellow Chiefs fans. I send greetings from Warpaint Illustrated. We greatly respect AP and I have been a loyal member here for years now myself. Right now what we need is unity among the various Chiefs sites and all NFL team sites. We need to act as one and raise our voices in disgust at this sickeningly selfish holdout. We have the power if we put aside our differences and we all send letters expressing our disdain for this holdout. I will get the information on where to send a letter to both sides today and send it to Chris or Joel and hopefully they will post it up so we can all stand together on this. WE pay their salaries and make them filthy rich. We deserve better than this. Again hello to AP and its terrific loyal following and to Chris and Joel for the tremendous job they do for all of you in giving you constant updated Chiefs news. Take care AP!!

Is Haley okay?
Man. I mean NO disrespect at all. I am not trying to stir the pot or start anything at all, I swear. But there have been a couple of interviews including Rome is Burning where Haley looks like he is either medicated or on something. I hate to say that. I really mean that I'm sorry for any disrespect. That is a really huge thing to insinuate about anyone without proof, but man, he sniffs and licks and smacks his lips constantly and rambles and stares in different directions. Its like he is on speed. I love him as our coach so don't take it that way, but I have done a lot of work with recovery and I just wonder if he is either medicated or something. Watch the post game interview and tell me if you think I'm an idiot or not. PLEASE DO NOT THINK I AM BITCHING ABOUT OUR COACH Its just a question.

Side Point About The Rain Game VS San Diego
I am so tired of hearing how the rain was the reason we beat SD. Last time I checked, it rained on both teams not just the Chargers correct? So if we would have lost would it have been because of the rain as well? BOTH teams played in that downpour but we won the game. If it had only rained on the Chargers players then that argument would be valid. But comeon man, both teams had to endure the SAME conditions that Monday and we won the game despite the rain, so what relevance does the rain have in excusing SD's loss to us?
Any word on the three defensive guys the Chiefs tried out last week?
I know Izzo was in the mix. Any word if any of them signed or not? Joel? Chris?

I am a member of Arrowhead Pride and the lead moderator and a blogger for Warpaint Illustrated. I wanted to stop by and congratulate you guys on the 2 wins this season. Very nice. You certainly hit pay dirt with Sam Bradford. I do not care that he is new and does not a whole body of work to look at yet. He IS the real deal. He is going to be an elite QB in this league for a long time to come, and when your QB is elite, your team IS going to win a lot of games.

I am a Chiefs fan from Arrowhead Pride. I am also the lead moderator and a blogger for Warpaint Illustrated. I thought I would share an outsiders perspective with you. I think most of America really likes the 49ers. Its hard not to like a team that gave us Joe Montana and Jerry Rice followed by Steve Young.
This is probably more true amongst Chiefs fans as you gave us Joe Montana here in KC and he gave us hope.
I thought I would share some of the thoughts from the members on Warpaint and around the league as I tend to frequent other teams fan sites in order to gather news for Warpaint.

This topic as Joel so aptly stated is a "hotbed" amongst fans, players, coaches GM's and owners recently with no signs of slowing down in the immediate foreseeable future. Perhaps taking a look at the entire world of sports will help bring some perspective to this topic.

Ahhhh, the Krayfish is calm and happy right now. The Chiefs are 3 and 0. Matt Cassel looks like he might have found his stride, and I am going to tell you why we are going to beat the Colts in their home. Really. We are going to beat the Colts. But before I tell you exactly why we are going to beat the Colts, I am going to give you some food for thought that should only add to your optimism going into the Colts game in two weeks.
Lets get the obvious reasons out of the way before I nail it down for you my fellow Chiefs fans.

Last Minute Ramblings Before We Beat The Niners

I'm so excited for tomorrow's game I can hardly stand it. To me this game is bigger than the Chargers game in assessing our team. No matter the final score, the naysayers will blame the rain and the home field advantage for our win against the Chargers. The Cleveland Browns are 0-2 and hardly going to earn us any respect points across the league, regardless of how well our defense played against them. SO what? It is what it is. We won both games and we deserved those victories.
The rain did nothing to help our defense stop the Chargers four times to clinch that victory on Monday night. So the TV people can say what they want, the Chiefs are for real.
What are the keys to winning against the Niners tomorrow? Lets discuss that together.

Serious suggestion for MNCheifsfan and Porkchop.
I think MN should do a weekly post called "The Doctor Is In". He can answer one email from members weekly. The subject matter must be kept to any issue arising in your life because of being a Chiefs fan. Pork chop could be his assistant. Porkchop could administer the medication.. i.e. happy pills.
Let me ask ALL Chiefs fans how you feel about this?
Just an opinion poll really. Look, I don't know why, but Jay Glazer to me, is horrible. I wish I would never have to see him on my TV screen again. He comes across as unknowledgeable and well, seriously, stupid. In general I don't like female NFL analysts, but I really like Michelle Beadle, anyone else like Beadle? Just wondered if anyone else dislikes Jay Glazer as much as me. He's a big dork. And wondered how we in general felt about female analysts, but not from a moral or ethical or equal right perspective. Simply put, I think male servers in general are better than female servers. I would also add that in general, I think guys make better NFL analysts than females. What say ye?

God I love Chiefs fans. We argue over everything. We will debate a coin toss for days on here. Its great. I love all the differing opinions on here. I love them. I say keep them coming. Who cares what anyone else thinks. You say what you feel, this is your team too and you have that right. That said, I think we need to get one thing straight.

Charles is going to ask to leave KC in my opinion!
He is a top 3 running back in this league. Did they really think he would be happy as a backup after all he has single handedly done to save this team? I don't see this working out at all. My opinion, but I see the writing on the wall if this continues. I will turn on Haley in an instant if this happens.

Cleveland Game A "Must Win" For The Chiefs?

This could really be a special opportunity for the Kansas City Chiefs. The story line is set and the nation will be watching as the Chiefs try to do the impossible; go from worst to first in one season. I will try to keep this as short and to the point as possible, but I know I tend to be a bit long winded at times.
So the short and sweet version of this post can be summed up like this; Sunday is a MUST WIN game for the Chiefs! I will discuss the reasons why and what we can hope to accomplish following a win against Cleveland, after the jump.
