A Sea Of Blue Patterson is coming back. Your move, Mr. Wall.

It appears that Eric Bledsoe has been the domino that started the others to fall.

First, Bledsoe gives a confident statement that Patrick will return.  A day later CBS Sports is running this on the bottom of the screen.

Blogs are now picking up the report, Bo is tweeting, and as they say, where there's smoke...

I think most of us could agree that Meeks would not go very high in the first round and might possibly slip into the second round.  Patterson, on the other hand, could have gone very high and easily gotten a guaranteed contract worth millions.  Happy days are back in Lexington, no doubt, but I am trying to look past this story for something elusive.  What is motivating Patterson to pull his name out now?

My theory?  John Wall awaits.  He can now see that Kentucky with this new coach, style of play, ESPN coverage and now the #1 recruiting class in America is very large stick of dynamite.  Patterson returning just cut the fuze, and with the commitment of John Wall, the Wildcats will explode in 2010.

This move by Pat is amazing for the program and I am happy to see the big guy get to play in a Kentucky uniform again and go deep in the NCAAs, but I also see that this is a card that is being played to force the hand of the game-changer.

Let's await that last domino to fall.  I believe it is going to happen soon.

A Sea Of Blue Poll: Kentucky roster 2010

***PLEASE VOTE AT BOTTOM***

Will Kentucky make Coach Calipari honor commitments and "do the right thing"?  Or will Kentucky decide to push kids out the door to get an entirely new stellar class of athletes that could compete for a National Championship by next season?

A Sea Of Blue Kentucky: Do the right thing

This post is more of a question rather than one man's opinion.

How do you get rid of a coach that was the COY last season and has over 20 wins this season?  I understand that Billy had lost control of his team.  I saw how that negativity led to more players losing confidence and getting worse.  I know his tact is something he needs to work on if he wants to improve his stature in the Commonwealth...
