First round draft picks' listed weight as HS seniors and now as drafted players. JJ Watt and Nate Solder, wow.

SBNation's draft site takes a look at Hudson.

Snip:

Technique: Having sound and proper technique is the key to Hudson's success. I mentioned that he possesses less than idea bulk and strength which means he relies heavily on technique. Getting off the ball quickly, getting inside hands, and remaining balanced is the only way Hudson will be effective in the NFL. Luckily, Hudson is consistent with his technique and is rarely out of position.

SBNation's draft site takes a look at Ponder.

Snip:

Decision making: Ponder possesses an excellent feel for the quarterback position. He has a lot of savvy in his game especially when executing screen plays. His ability to effectively decoy on screens allows for his target to pick up an extra couple yards. Ponder was calm and collected as he made his pre snap reads and showed he could identify potential blitzes. I was pleased to see that Ponder was comfortable going through his progressions. He routinely set and reset his feet while going across the field looking to his secondary targets. While a lot of quarterbacks tend to lock on to their primary target, Ponder is able to influence the defense with his head and eyes.

A mod at 247 posted their video from the war party on youtube in parts. A huge thanks to Travis Register from there for uploading these.

If you don't know what this was, the war party was after Coach Fisher's signing day press conference. All the position coaches talked about the recruits to boosters and fans. The war party last year was a lot of fun and I enjoyed this one too. The parts are broken up into which coaches speak and they cover recruits at their positions. Do yourself a favor and don't miss Coach Trickett. His is part 9.
