Is it just me, or does anybody else take the whole 'may be lengthened or shortened by either party' thing as negating the intent of a contract? It's like they're basically saying 'he's year-to-year with no personal guarantees (the rest of the staff notwithstanding), but at least it's in writing now!'. I don't really have a beef either way- but it just strikes me as odd that the ~~braying morons~~ reporters are placated by the existence of a 'contract' even though it appears to be completely meaningless.

The arrogance never ends, and it isn't limited to disdain for Penn State
