Talking Chop Larry...

I know that there is an official Chip thread but I don't think this particular FP belongs there.  Seeing as this might be the last time we see number 10 at 3rd, i just wanted to use TChop as a way to thank Chipper.  Since seeing him get hurt while gunning down Pence from in the air, i have had this overwhelming sad feeling.  I think this is because, as everybody as already said, the last link to the Braves i fell in love with dies with Chip.  On a more personal level though, a part of my childhood dies along seeing Chip leave.  He's the reason why i played 3rd through high school, and the reason why I hit from both sides of the plate.  Chipper has one of the sweetest lefty swings I have ever seen.  This Braves team has played very hard for Bobby and now will play even harder for Chip and this is the reason I think they'll take down the East this year.  Anyway, this Hawaii boy has loved the Braves for a very long time and Chip is one of the main reasons why.  Thank You Larry, sincerely.

Talking Chop Heartbreakers...

Hey TC Faithful...

This is probably a post that a few will frown upon.  I, on the other hand, think that love, even of a baseball team, comes with its ups and downs.  So, on that note, I'd like to know what some of your favorite Atlanta Braves hearbreakers are.  Now, granted I'm only 27, so i can't go that far back in time but as far as instances go I'd like to give one of my personal knifes to the stomach.  I watched the whole game and seeing Chris F'n Burke going deep over that stupid, short should be illegal wall in left nearly brought me to my knees.  I remember us being up like 3 or 4 going into the 8th or 9th which made it even worse.

Anyway, I just wanted to get away from the 'risky free agent siginings' and the 'free agents that we missed' and 'trades that we should/shouldn't have made' blogs that are usually on here.  Hope this doesn't get crucified like so many blogs do....

Go Glaus Braves!
