Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. Graduated from Texas A&M 1972 (yes I'm old). Fan of all Texas A&M Athletic Teams. Lived on the Texas Gulf Coast from 1972 to 1996. Lived in Houston, Texas area from 1996-2006. Had season tickets to Astros during glory days. Went to every home playoff game and World Series game. Witnessed Albert Pujols' MONSTER home run blast off Brad Lidge in 16th (maybe 17th) inning propelling Cardinals to World Series. Went to every Houston Comets home game and playoff game during Swoopes, Thompson, Cooper, Arcain, Perrot (till she passed away) era. Still put them as best starting 5 ever in WNBA. Got reinterested in Women's Basketball following 2010 sweet sixteen and 2011 National Champion Texas A&M Aggies. Went to 2011 regionals in Shreveport and Dallas. Still kicking myself for not going to Indianapolis. Didn't want to spend all that money to watch Stanford/Connecticut in Finals. Should have had more faith. Big fan of Daniielle Adams and San Antonio Silver Stars. Frustrated wanna be baseball player. Very bad astigmatism, near-sightedness. Somewhat better at basketball. Never could and still can't shoot very well with the exception of offensive rebound putbacks and easy inside lay-ups. At 6'3", I used to be tall enough to play inside (not any more). Better than average rebounder and defender. Glad to see Dennis Rodman in Hall of Fame. Validates value of defense and rebounding.
