I go to school, work as a cook, and write prolifically about nothing at all. In my spare time, I hopelessly support six teams who, with the exception of KU basketball, have sucked or underachieved since I was born.

The Royals seem to be improving, but aren't quite there.

The Chiefs are almost at the bottom (I was a Detroit fan also during the Barry years, I'm glad I jumped off that train), but are young and promising in many positions (except the important ones.

Mizzou football is looking to be down again after this year, but the North sucks so anything is possible there.

The same goes for KU basketball, but they are currently overachieving and that's all right.

I know the two above seem to contradict each other. I'm from Carrollton, MO, so I picked KU basketball at a young age, and then MU football when I played in HS.

Now we go off the beaten path.

Back when Shaq and Penny were in Orlando, I jumped on that bandwagon, and apparently my weight made the wheels fall off. Yet shockingly, again behind a dominant Center they are making a return to prominence. Now, the playoffs, that's another question.

Lastly, I follow the San Jose Sharks. Why? Because when I was 8, I thought they had the coolest mascot/logo in sports. I was right, and currently they are the best team in the NHL. So maybe my luck is turning.

Oh yeah, I like Barca FC and the KC Wizards too, because I'm un-American and find soccer entertaining.
