Been a Lion's fan since Thanksgiving game from the year, I think 1968 or 69. I was like 6 or 7 years old. My moms friend bet her the Lion's would not win against the Browns and were down by 2 or three touchdowns. They came back to win, thus saving Christmas for us kids. {The bet was a friendly Christmas money offer} Been a fan ever since.
Not many Lion's fans here in Kansas, nor Italians so here I am an Italian Lion fan amongst lots of country bumpkins!
Played football in high school. Both knees destroyed with injuries and several surgeries. My step father {the friend who bet my mom} played years ago for the Washington Redskins farm team or scout team-back in the 50's.
Die hard Lion fan..........from way before hometown hero ' Barry Sanders ' played there.
