I know that Ou had some huge gains on slip screens against our D in several instances on Saturday. I also know that they scored off of one of them... After reviwing the video of each of the plays it seems to me that their biggest players were about 5 yards down the field when the ball was caught... Now before you single me out with the "it is ok if the receiver catches the ball behind the LOS," the receiver was past the LOS by at least 2 yards on each instance. On the TD that Mnny Johnson scored , the fine folks at ESPN highlighted the player showing the LOS and where the O-linemen were. Clearly Illegal and should have been flagged...

How could this be missed be officials especially the back judge who is looking for this as well as the side judges.

Very similar, wide open and hard to defense.... Just a thought...

My dad and I watched a BYY vs San Diego State game back in 93 I think after a Texas game and the final score was 49-48... Both offenses had over 500 yards...

I know that we have better defense and speed, but it is interesting to see how what was once looked at as a gimmick pass first run second league is now very accepted.

I hope he enjoys being a backup to Rodney Stewart this year and the next 3 years... Nice to have an offense designed for you and all and then not get to play but 5 snaps a game... Stewart reminds me of Darren Sproles and is probably better. He worries me a bit more than Scott because he is smaller and can hide behind lineman as he runs the zone read.. I do not want a repeat of the Quentin Griffin fest again when we play CU in Boulder...
