From the SBN Pirate blog, a very amusing send up of the Morgan/Milledge trade reactions featuring everybody's favorite Adolf from "The Downfall." Just watching Hitler (subtitled) say, "He's a good clubhouse guy" had me in stitches.

So here´s a couple links to recent articles about increasing injury rates and statistical injury prediction models, culled from the often execrable content at the New York Times. Notice, in an article about progressive attitudes toward injury, the number of Mariner staff quoted is zero. Let's hope Z and co. have a different attitude than the old "Whaddya mean it hurts, ya Pansy!"...
Question: Is favoring an actuarial approach vs. a biomechanical approach favoring results-based analysis? Any stat brain have a clue as to the possible ubiquity of such an approach in the future?
