Blogging The Boys Ask a Giant Fan

Normally, someone else on the Giants website, Big Blue View, does this with our opponent for that week. I haven't seen him put it up yet so I guess I will. So here I am to answer any and all questions you have. But I want to change it up a little...Feel free to vent on this post as well. What I mean by that is, you don't have to be civil. You want to tell me how much my team sucks and why? Feel free! I'll try to respond to every comment, and if I don't I'm sure there are other NYG fans who may come across this post and answer for me. So I'll get this party started: Personally, I see the Cowboys as the Giants biggest rival. That's why I'm more worried about this game than I am about the Eagles game. Not because I think your players are good. I don't. In fact, I think most of them stink. I think your defense stinks, I think your current QB stinks, I think your RBs stink, I respect your receivers, but don't think you QB is good enough to take advantage. But what scares me is the rivalry factor. I don't want the cowboys to come in here and play out of there minds against us. So what do you guys think.

Big Blue View Would Ladanian Tomlinson be a good fit for the Giants?

I believe he would be a good fit. Think about it, Jacobs and Tomlinson would clearly give NY that 1-2 punch that they were hoping for with Bradshaw. Don't get me wrong, I love Bradshaw, but I"m not so sure he compliments Jacobs very well. Tomlinson can catch the ball out of the back field and probably give the Giants the receiving threat out of the backfield that they haven't had since Tiki.

OK so cost...I'm not so sure he'd cost a whole lot. You could probably give him a 2-year deal for decent money. This would also free up the Giants to trade Bradshaw and probably Ware as well. Remember, you have Brown coming back from injury, as well as, Gartrell Johnson in his first full year with the team. Next year, I believe Andre Brown will be ready. If he is, then that will give the giants the ability to dangle Tomlinson as trade bait next year. If he has a bounce back year, they may be able to get somewhere between a first and a 3rd round pick for him. Plus, this is a strong, veteran team. A bonafide contender, with a solid QB. This team is probably the best option for him, and I think he'd agree if we went after him.
