I need some ideas...
So I own a small business in the DFW area, and I've been kicking around the idea of giving a discount on services when either the Cowboys achieve a particular thing in a game (perhaps score over 30 points) or maybe just focus on a particular player (Mo gets a pick 6)
First, there are no legal hurdles I would have to navigate to do something like this are there? I think I'd be fine, but there is always that pesky fine-print-reading guy on during every televised football game, trying to make you think twice about telling a friend the score the next day.
Second, if I did it, I'd want it to be a goal that would be fairly easily obtainable, but still at least sounds impressive. Ideally, the goal would be achieved in at least 12 of our 16 games. Does anyone have any suggestions for what kind of goal I should use?
Did the Cowboys make the right choice?
Its an article from right after the draft, but I found it humorous to go over again now that we've had a glimpse of what Demarco Murray really is.
Sean Lee's stock is DOWN after the chargers game?
So the guy comes in and is, to my eyes, pretty dang good... and then his stock goes down? Does that make sense to anyone on here?
Did anyone watch the same game as Calvin Watkins?
Hudson Houck breaks down the offensive line
Houck says that Brewster is a left tackle! McQuistan is now a guard?
Why wade should NOT be fired
Look, I know everyone's upset and a couple of hours after a bad loss it's too easy to make knee jerk reactions.
But look at what happened today... The score doesn't tell the story. The Defense (AKA Wade's unit) was still good! It was the Offense that put the defense in a lot of bad situations all game long. Short fields for the Vikings mean a lot of Viking points
Firing Ade at this point would be step in the wrong direction. I'm not even going to advocate Jason Garrett's firing.
How are you supposed to adapt a game plan when your offensive line can't block my grandma? If you want to fire someone, I suggest firing someone affiliated with the OL. (Houck maybe? Maybe a few of the players?)
We need more athleticism and youth on our OL, that's on Jerry. Maybe we need a new blocking scheme, if our big guys can't block straight ahead. Thats on the players and Houck.
What do you guys think?

4th quarter QB stats
I was reading an NFC north blog about cutler vs. rodgers and found out that Romo was the top rated QB in the 4th quarter (you know, the one that clutch quarterbacks thrive in). Why do people always doubt him?

I know the cowboys lost today (ugh) but I think its time for a little cheering up. Here is my 2 year old nephew about a month ago rooting for the cowboys, much to the chagrin of my colts-loving brother in law.
Also this is my first post of any kind on BTB, be gentle...
