Slam Warriors Preview

Slam did their Dubs season preview today and despite the preview title, they didn't seem so down on the Dubs Looks like we have a new fan. She seems to be optimistic about the guys off the bench like Buke, Bellinelli, and the rookies. I personally love Slam, and can't wait till I see the Monta comeback issue comin up in January!!!! Ron Artest, Elton Brand, or The Matrix?

At this point, it seems unrealistic the Warriors would be able to acquire Ron Artest (who says he isn't even discussing moving with his agent) and Elton Brand, who will likely be back on a much improved Clippers team.

I'm asking my fellow Dubs fans..what would you put out there for either of these veterans? Acquiring them would take a large hit on our cap, as well as most likely giving up a big name player and draft picks. On the other hand we desperately need the defensive presence these two would provide.

In my opinion, the best option would be to not get hardballed by BDiddy and spend big money trying to lure Marion from Miami. Marion is more suited for the Warriors offense than Brand, and is a more versatile defender than Artest, as he can guard 2-4 easily, and, at times, has guarded PG's and C's. But if Miami gets Derrick Rose, it will be hard to draw Marion from a playoff-looking 3 of Rose, Wade, and Marion.
