I'm a diehard fan of all Philadelphia sports teams (well, more of a fair-weather Sixers fan) out in Pittsburgh for school. I've adopted the Pirates as my second baseball team since moving out here, but my hate for the Penguins has only grown stronger.

Union Nation: Where Do Fans Gather Outside Of Philadelphia?
One of my favorite things about being an Eagles fan, is going to Peter's Pub in Pittsburgh on Sundays and knowing I'll be surrounded by 50-100 Eagles fans. I know there are Eagles bars in just about every major city across the country. While the Union don't have the history or the following of the Eagles, do Union fans gather at bars or other locations in cities outside Philadelphia?
No Longer Just a Rumor: Everton to Play Philadelphia Union this Summer
July 20 at PPL Park in Chester, PA. One week before I take the bar. I'll be there anyway.
Rumor: Everton to play Philadelphia Union.
The Union's SB Nation blog Brotherly Game is reporting there's a rumor going around that Everton may play the Philadelphia Union this summer. Sure it's all very third-hand at this point, but this would be pretty cool if it actually happens.
The Toffees are coming to America!
Everton has announced a match at RFK Stadium for July 23 and will announce a later US match sometime in the future.
Jags doubtful for Merseyside Derby
Jagielka injured his hamstring while training for England. He's been ruled out for the Euro qualifier against Montenegro and is doubtful for next week's match against Liverpool. Gah. Just what we needed. It seems like every time we're on the verge of turning this season around, something comes along and just makes it worse.
Where do you plan to watch Everton this season?
While late Friday nights sometimes make getting up early enough to go out Saturday morning a bit tricky, there's nothing like watching European soccer, especially Everton, at a bar. The last couple seasons I have watched most Everton matches either on subpar standard definition Fox Soccer Channel or streamed the games online, but occasionally I'll get to watch them on glorious ESPN HD in my living room, or, even better, from a local bar.
