Ok, here goes my yearly post.

1. Any word on the horrendously bad call from the Colorado game where the player ran the ball out of the end zone and we tackled him for a saftey, but the refs remembered they were in Colorado and said it was a touchback?

2. Shouldn't there be a penalty for throwing yellow shirts onto the field?

3. My pick for the Blow U game: 35 21 Texas.

The diffence of the game will be qb play. Yes we do not have a running game, but that is ok. Colt is much more a dynamic player than Bradford is because COlt is much more mobile. Bradford will not run the ball, and even if he did, OU recievers do not know how to block for a running qb. Since some of our offense relies on Colt running the ball, our recievers know how to finish a block. I think our D will slow down the Sooner offense, more more than the Sooner D can stop us. Colt is much better under presssure, becuase he can run. If our front 4 can pressure Bradford, he will not know what to do. My example is Tech last, he tried running the ball, and ended up not knowing where he was.  I still expect our d to give up yards and big plays, but in the end, I fell confident Muschamp can have us rocking and rollng to win 3 of the last 4 against OU.

4. Its 9:30 and OU still sucks.  

Thoughts, feelings?

I was just looking at out schedule for next year. We play OU on 10/11. I thought we always played them the first Saturday of Oct. I was all jazzed because my bday is 10/04, which is the first sat of October, but we are  
playing at Colorado. Anyone have some insight.....

I hate Aggies.

Does Texas have any guys playing in the game? Should be fun to watch, especially, if all the Oklahoma recruits some how get injured, "Not that I was injury on anybody"

How much did we recruit Ryan Mallet?

I just saw an article that garnered some interest for me. Ryan Mallet is thinking about transfering since Rich Rodriguez is bringing the spread running offense to Michigan.

My thought is, if we recruiting heavily, but picked Michigan over us how much interest would there be to transfering to UT?

No one is thinking this, but it has already been reported that  Houston Nutt-Job is going to Ole Miss, where his qb will be Jevan Snead.....how bout that for a son of a bitch and irony.

Anyways, I was thinking, what can we expect from Ole Miss with Nutt and Snead there? I think given Snead's athletic ability, it should get interesting.

After being at the game yesterday, I saw first hand why Texas Tech is trashy, and the fish sticks from the head.

Not a whole lot of substance to this story, details still coming out, but 2 current players and 3 former players under investigation for improper benefits. WAY WAY down this line, if everything sticks, there is precedence to forfeit games, ie Oklahoma in 2005, I know that is a long shot, but could make it easier for another 10 win season if K State has to forfeit wins.

I believe this train wreck of a season is Mack Brown's fault. And I tab it to what some people say is his greatest asset....Recruiting.

Recruiting players is easy. Just find good players and plug them in. But everyone knows that GD only knows how to run the option read. So Brown should only be recruiting fast, agile players that either ran it in high school, or can pick it up fairly quickly. Colt's been the two years, hasn't worked yet. I understand we lose players, and commitments are nonbinding until signing day, but we could still have found a fast qb that not necessarily would have been high on the pecking order by recruting means.

At ATM, Fran only runs the option, so he goes out and gets option qbs or ones that can run it well. Tech, qbs whose arms do not fall off after 60- 70 pass attempts in a game.

I still like Mack, but he has two decisions to make, either find players that fit into GD's game plan....or realize he is the head coach, and find coaches who can adapt to the players each season.

Agree or disagree.  

The thing that really gets me about this season, because I think GD is always going to call bad plays, is the lack of good officiating. When I was at the TCU game, there seemed to be a more than average questionable calls, I think of back to back pass interference calls when we were in the red zone about to score. We were moved back and settled for a field goal. Thats points off the board by bad officiating. Several calls were reviewed, which to me, if a call has to be reviewed due to stupidity, than the moron should not be reffing. I want to know how many plays  Texas has had reviewed,which were reversed, and which ones held up. The amount of reviewed calls alone should be a testimony to bad officials.

Please, anybody, chime in so far to bad calls that come to you at the top of your head when reading this....

Also, call we get different pants than the white ones the guys wore yesterday.....I hate looking at Colt like that.

So, the people I usually tailgate with appartenly did not reserve a spot in enough time to secure a tailgate spot. I am assuming BON is having a spot, and if so, where. I have tickets for the game on Sat, TCU, Nebraska, and Tech. Just trying to find a place to tailgate.

And by the way.....ITS F*ING GAME WEEK!

OU still has not named a quarterback for this season. The thing that I am not seeing is a lack of enthuiasm from anybody about all three of the qb's, qhich bodes well for UT. Last season, picking between Colt and Jevan, at least we kept hearing about how difficult is was to make a choice since both were playing very well, and of course Colt won out and had a spectacular season.

Either all three backs are piss poor, and Stoops is quietly counting the days till he loses to UT again, or I have become an Aggie fan, and have total disregard for reason, fairness, and how ignorant I am.

Take this for what you will, but on Saturday, I had a to help a production out videotaping the Allen, Texas High School Prom. I was exciting about this due to the fact that Nathan Dick, who signed with Arkansas, goes there.

After two hours of him making a douche of himself dancing, I finally got a chance to meet him and ask him about Arkansas. we proceed to have a conversation about Houston Nutt, and I asked the question how many times Dick had met/talked to Nutt. Nathan answered he had not talked to Nutt since February, after signing day, and that "there is a large shakeup going on with the coaching staff". I took that as, he knows Nutt may not be there very much longer.

I am in the process of downloading the pics of him making an ass of himself, because, lets face it, making fun of a piggie is the best way to start a Monday.

Lamarcus is out for a while due to a rapid heartbeat. Just take the rest of the season off, I say. I still wish he would have stuck around this year, we would have been badass with KD and him.

Does anyone else find it depressing that Miss America is from Oklahoma, AGAIN!

I watched a little bit of the "compition" and found my self cheering for  Miss Texas, and rooting against Miss Oklahoma.

I guess my questions is two fold:

1. Is it depressing that an Oklahoma girl is representing the nation
2. Is it wrong that I was rooting against Miss Oklahoma because I hate the Sooners more than anything in this world.
   

Does anyone know what the Aggie Tradition "The Squeeze" is? While I was tailgating at Saturdays game, at the very end of the TAMU game, they showed the Corps of Cadets squeezing their genitial, it hopes they would take the pain for the football team. My brother explained this me as I was watching, but I wanted to know it this, hopefully not, is a tradition they do for close games.
