Colorado Bad Call

Ok, here goes my yearly post.

1. Any word on the horrendously bad call from the Colorado game where the player ran the ball out of the end zone and we tackled him for a saftey, but the refs remembered they were in Colorado and said it was a touchback?

2. Shouldn't there be a penalty for throwing yellow shirts onto the field?

3. My pick for the Blow U game: 35 21 Texas.

The diffence of the game will be qb play. Yes we do not have a running game, but that is ok. Colt is much more a dynamic player than Bradford is because COlt is much more mobile. Bradford will not run the ball, and even if he did, OU recievers do not know how to block for a running qb. Since some of our offense relies on Colt running the ball, our recievers know how to finish a block. I think our D will slow down the Sooner offense, more more than the Sooner D can stop us. Colt is much better under presssure, becuase he can run. If our front 4 can pressure Bradford, he will not know what to do. My example is Tech last, he tried running the ball, and ended up not knowing where he was. I still expect our d to give up yards and big plays, but in the end, I fell confident Muschamp can have us rocking and rollng to win 3 of the last 4 against OU.

4. Its 9:30 and OU still sucks.

I was just looking at out schedule for next year. We play OU on 10/11. I thought we always played them the first Saturday of Oct. I was all jazzed because my bday is 10/04, which is the first sat of October, but we are
playing at Colorado. Anyone have some insight.....

Does Texas have any guys playing in the game? Should be fun to watch, especially, if all the Oklahoma recruits some how get injured, "Not that I was injury on anybody"

Game is this afternoon on ESPN, I will be watching, and editing a video at the same time, not that any of you care, but I need 300 characters

Oh, and we should do a final grade on all of our players we adopted...OK I am done.

How much did we recruit Ryan Mallet?

I just saw an article that garnered some interest for me. Ryan Mallet is thinking about transfering since Rich Rodriguez is bringing the spread running offense to Michigan.

My thought is, if we recruiting heavily, but picked Michigan over us how much interest would there be to transfering to UT?

Jevan Snead

No one is thinking this, but it has already been reported that Houston Nutt-Job is going to Ole Miss, where his qb will be Jevan Snead.....how bout that for a son of a bitch and irony.

Anyways, I was thinking, what can we expect from Ole Miss with Nutt and Snead there? I think given Snead's athletic ability, it should get interesting.

Why Tech is trashy

After being at the game yesterday, I saw first hand why Texas Tech is trashy, and the fish sticks from the head.

Mike Leach calling out the refs. My Lord in heaven, you have to be kidding me. For once, a team plays better offense than you, and you call at the refs. Your punishment is the same type format as Mangino is '04. Mangino could not eat for 2 weeks. Leach can not drink for two weeks.

Harrel is as whiny as they get. Don't ever try to start a fight with D Lineman of the opposing team...ever. You have an offensive line for a reason. And, hey, you may of lost the game, but you still congradulate the other team on a win.

The best part of the game was watching Harrel go running straight to his locker right after the game, and my adopted son, Derek Lokey, followed after him giving him a piece of his mind. Little man, when you lose, lose with class.

I am calling out the entire Tech team on this one. Did anyone from their team stay and sing Tech's fight song after the game when we gave them time to. Heck No. It was only after it was apparent they were going to their locker room did our announcers start talking over their band.

Dickweed Tech fans in the student section. I have no problem with this, unless you talk trash the entire game and after you lost. Get over it, some day you will find someone that is not as forgiving.

Done with my rant....

First time in a long time I am happy with the entire game we played against good talent.

As always, something I said that does not make sense, or out and out wrong, call me out. I have a bad habit of writing stuff that makes sense in my head, but I screw it up writng it down.

Tech Tailgating

I know a lot of you have said that you got tickets for Saturdays game. Just curious to see who all will be there, and to see if we can set up a BON tailgate. I, for one, will be driving in from Dallas.

Mack Brown says it is not such an advantage playing at home with all the boo birds who came out to the game on Saturday. Have to admit, I was booing, but it was because of GD and his fabulous play calling.

Guess its time for us to stop booing at games....
