Who Needs Chandler Anyway?
First off I would like to start by saying I truly love Tyson Chandler and everything that he did for the Mavericks. He brought a tough mindset that allowed others around him to build off his energy. But can we all also remember that he is only Tyson Chandler.
english paper for school
The only time i love school is when I get to write papers about the Mavs
A True Fan
So as you all know, things are very dull, and I am trying to find a way to excite things. I am like everyone on this site, a die hard Dirk fan. As I have recently turned 18, I have been given many more responsibilities and privileges, such as getting a tattoo. If you put those two things together, I have a strong desire to get a tattoo of Dirk's name. Now hear me out, I would get in on the inside of my lower lip, so its not like it would be visible all the time. It also goes away after about 2-3 years. What do you guys think? Yay or neigh?
True Love
A 9 year-old boy walks into Costco with his mom on a regular Saturday afternoon, excited for all the free samples that he would be devouring within the next hour. As any true Costco-goer would know, all the cool stuff is at the beginning of the store so that one may quickly get distracted and forget what they are really supposed to be buying. As he walks into the store, he sees numerous large flat screen televisions off to the side with basketball games on. The young boy has recently gotten involved with park leagues, and greatly fascinated with professional basketball. Living in LA, he foolishly thought he was a Lakers fan, due to all the Shaq and Kobe hype. Poor misled child. Luckily, Costco was airing the 2003 Western Conference Semifinals (current at the time).

We are getting respect
I am your typical 17 year old basketball loving boy. Particularly a Dallas Mavericks fan, explaining why I am here writing this post. To go along with the 17 year old boy part, I also tend to drive a little faster than I should. Due to this, a few months ago I was pulled over for a speeding ticket, everyone's favorite thing. Well after attending court and lovely traffic school, I then had to turn my certificate of proof for attending traffic school. That was today.
I arrived to the court only to see a large man standing right next to me. I could not quite put my tongue on the name of the player, but I knew that he had to be a professional basketball player. After constant thought of trying to figure it out, I saw the name "Ariza" written on numerous boxes he was carrying and those of his lawyers. Once he entered the elevator, I asked if it was private, to which he responded and let me on.
On my way up, after some rookies were talking about how much they missed this Trevor in LA, to which he seemed very annoyed (along with many other non fan questions). One of the questions asked was what he thought of the results of the game the other night. To this he responded by saying that he is very happy for the Mavericks and is even happier that a team from the west won. He said our team deserved it and we are a very good team. Although he did not put much emphasis on, it was incredible to hear such a player give respect to our team. Ahh how great it is to have a championship.
As I was leaving the elevator, I turned to him and asked him if I could shake his hand, to which we shook. I told him I enjoyed watching him play, and wished him the best of luck in his court case.
I gained much respect for a player that I never truly thought about before. Ah it is nice to be a champion.
I would like to take all the credit for the championship.
So if there are any basketball players out there, they would understand that i wear two pairs of shorts every day. Or if not two pairs of shorts, I am wearing a pair of shorts under any other clothes that i wear. One of my favorite pair of undershorts are a pair of replica Dallas Mavericks practice shorts. Typically I wear each pair of shorts for about 3 or 4 days, then I switch the shorts and wash the previous worn shorts.
Well for the entire duration of the playoffs, I decided to wear this same pair of undershorts, somewhat like a superstitious belief that our own JET has. For the first time today, I took the shorts off for the first time, might I add the small was not the most pleasant, and thought how much luck was brought from these pair of shorts.
So after everything is said and done, and our Dallas Mavericks have won the championship, I would like to proudly take the credit for the hardware we can now hold up. So Mabs fans, you are welcome.
Oh i guess we can give Dirk some credit too.
i now know why rodrigue has been all over the place and we cant seem to figure out why he isnt living up to the hype.
he is protecting our country
