I don't get it at all...

The whole point of bringing in Juan Castillo, our former OL coach to be DC was so we could ATTACK the opposing O-Lines.. not play zone coverage and only have one blitz... If we wanted to play zone coverage schemes why didn't we just keep Dick Jauron and promote him to DC?! Why does Juan Castillo look like he only has 4-5 plays in his playbook, too?!

Where are these exotic blitzes that could easily kill opposing lines, since we already have 3 pro bowlers on the dline... Why don't we blitz DRC? play Jarrett as a hybrid S/LB, play Nate Allen deep middle like the bears did with their S and let him play an Ed Reed type role (imagine if we had Earl Thomas instead)

Our D is way too soft, we need to cut the bullshit we are running now, and play tight man to man, with crazy blitzes to actually attack Olines like Castillo was hired to do

This loss makes me sick to my stomach.. but this is what's up right now...

Eagles go 4-5 if they beat the Cardinals at home
Giants go 6-3 if they lose against the 9ers
Cowboys go 4-5 if they lose against the Bills

If the Eagles beat the Giants in 2 weeks, they fall only a game behind and have a much easier schedule than the Giants...

Giants Schedule:
at 49ers (7-1), vs. Eagles (3-4), at Saints (6-3), vs. Packers (8-0), at Cowboys (4-4), vs. Redskins (3-5), at Jets (5-3), vs. Cowboys (4-4)

Eagles:
vs. Cardinals (2-6), at Giants (6-2), vs. Patriots (5-3), at Seahawks (2-6), at Dolphins (1-7), vs. Jets (5-3), at Cowboys (4-4), vs. Redskins (3-5)

Cowboys:
vs. Bills (5-3), at Redskins (3-5), vs. Dolphins (1-7), at Cardinals (2-6), vs. Giants (6-2), at Buccaneers (4-4), vs. Eagles (3-4), at Giants (6-2)

Hey everyone... I'm looking to get tickets for the Eagles Cowboys game, and I found this website with the cheapest prices... I was just wondering if anyone of you guys have used it? It looks pretty legit, but if anyone has ever used this site could you tell me how it works, and when the tickets get delivered etc.

The website is called event tickets express, there's a link title
Thanks.

"If the Eagles really have an offer of a first-round pick for Kevin Kolb, who had seven touchdowns and seven interceptions last season, then what is Palmer worth? Granted, Palmer's five years older at 31, but he had 26 touchdowns to 20 interceptions in 2010."

I would much rather trade for Kolb than Palmer.......

Irony

How ironic is it, that Bears Safety Chris Harris wrote on our blog, and ended up Intercepting Vick? Maybe we should ban all other NFL players from writing on BGN, or get our guys to start writing on other teams sites? lol

An article about McNabb's "Hell Week" in Arizona with the receivers, but NFL.com decides to throw in some quick jabs at McNabb like these:

"he sessions will be so rough and so intense, it will feel like playing in the Super Bowl. So all participants should expect to throw up in the fourth quarter. "
and
"And after a hard day’s workout, the players will get together and study the NFL rule book. Specifically the new overtime rules. And after that — air guitar! "

I personally don't really care, just wanna know what you guys think

Don't know if you guys have ever seen this, it's pretty riddiculous though lol.

JIBTA would love this site.

He has really good accuracy, it's actually much more consistent than McNabbs... The first 2 picks are really just a lack of experience, since it was his first start.. He made a couple really good throws in the third... The last pick was just because he couldn't step up into the throw, he kinda threw off his back leg.. Overall, I'm pretty impressed though.

Kamerion Wimbley just got traded to the Raiders for a third round pick from the Browns... Do you guys think that either Kirk Morrison or Thomas Howard may now hopefully get traded?

Bleeding Green Nation Eagles Offense

i was just 'reminiscing' about the eagles season and then i realized something really strange... everytime i watched the eagles on offense, i always had the feeling somethng terrible was going to happen, like a pick 6, or a bad snap resulting in a turnover, or like a westbrook injury, and id kinda always hold my breathe every play, i mean there were some games that were just like blowouts and once we had a monstrous lead i wud stop, but like i remember my friends  (one a pats fan, one a giants fan.. yuck) and everytime there offense stepped onto the field they were so confident that they wud score, but i'm sitting here scared that McNabb! the best QB in TD to INT ratio wud throw a pick and stuff like that...

iunno if it was jut me, or anyoine else felt the same way? but i RARELY felt it on defense, only wen we really needed a big turnover i wud just sit there waiting to get a turnover but like, i was a lot happier and more confident once the D was on the field rather than the O...

did anyone else feel the same?

Bleeding Green Nation Crabtree

I heard the eagles were actualy interested in Michael Crabtree on this article thats posted in the fanshots named Left Tackle, its actualy a pretty insightful article, i encourage you guys to read it, but lets say the eagles do indeed draft crabtree, and get pettigrew.. then they move shawn andrews to RT and Herremens to LT and put in like MJG and Nick cole or something, maybe king dunlap? at the guard spots.. how do you think mcnabb would start to feel?

i mean if we have a one year reciever in jackson, and a rookie in crabtree.. (who is a beast, 6-3, 214LBS) , and a 2 year TE (celek) and a rookie TE with pettigrew, do you think we might be shutting the door down on McNabb and westbrook? cuz i mean it takes quite some time to actualy get used to the NFL, and it might take the offense a full year to get used to all the change...

im just asking you guys, would you be happier bringing in guys like peppers and jordan gross, and like a tony gonzalez or K winslow? just because it may benefit McNabb and B-West and hopefully Dawkins when he re-signs.. or would you prefer the rookies?

Bleeding Green Nation Stewart Bradley is a tank

i was just reading an article, about the eagles and cardinals and it said a key matchup would be with stewart bradley.. and then i realized how much of a tank stewart bradley really is....

has anyone realized that he's 6-5 255, but this man is fasttt, wen u really think about it, he's colossal, and he runs amazing for his size from sideline to sideline

anyways, i just wanted to post this cuz it seemed like a pretty boring day todai, cept for the mannings wife thing and westbrook talking about the run game... so yea

go eagles.
