Interesting article about use of capspace.

So he bets that Darko will produce more than Shaq. I would have abstained!

Truth About It: The Story of Derrick Caracter

1

This guy will probably fall so maybe if he is there in the second round. Also Dan Fegan comes off as super-slimy again.

Fesenko to start for Jazz.

6

I know he has some fans here. Let's see if he can keep from fouling out.

KHTK and the Kings host Bone Marrow matching event

+

I know Jason Ross from my time at KHTK and he is among the best people I know, and this is a worthwhile cause. I figured StR could probably make some good things happen.

Mike Dunleavy fired as GM.

I saw this on Truehoop and was less than shocked. I wonder why it took this long.

Al Jefferson charged with DWI.

20

This reminds me of WEbber when he was with Washington before we got him. I think someone is going to scoop Jefferson up for very little on draft day.

Melo out tonight

1

Watching ESPN the sideline reporter announced Melo was out for tonight vs Cle and will not travel to Sacramento for tomorrow's game.

Mark Stein is making me Freak out!

4

He talks about the shot by Kobe and blames it on the way the players played and not the elbow to the neck that Kobe delivered. I am apopleptic and think Stein should be disallowed from being a Casspi fan for his offense.

Deadspin story about last night's game.

A bit of a NSFW twist on it, but still funny.

It is a good thing to have respect around the league!

Pistons Fire Michael Curry.

I had heard he was not speaking to Rip Hamilton, but now it looks like he is not speaking to anyone in Detroit.

This is an article at Hardwood Paroxysm by Jon Nichols about some advanced statistics. He links over to basketball-statistics.com.

Raptors sign Jay Triano

Phoenix signed Alvin Gentry so we still have the only vacancy. Philly may dump Tony DiLeo, but right now We are the destination.

Tim Kawakami's No Defense Team

He is a tad harsh and the Kings do poorly here as you might expect.

Artest's throat fouls Kobe's elbow!

4

"Kobe Bryant's elbow landed squarely in Ron Artest's throat. At some point, the NBA will acknowledge that much. There'll be a meaningless letter and an even more meaningless fine, and that'll be the end of it. 'It would be very telling, very telling, if something happened,' Shane Battier said. Forget about it. The NBA will say it was incidental contact or that Artest should know better than to hit use his throat as a weapon against Bryant's poor innocent elbow. Bryant got away with two cheap shots in Game 1, and he'll get away with the one he threw in Game 2 as well. Let's take a collective deep breath and deal with it. This series won't be decided by the NBA proving it has a separate set of rules for Kobe Bryant. We already know that."

ESPN Reports Danny Ainge had a heart attack.

He is hopitalized but recovering according to ESPN.com

Chad Ford on John Wall

10

Mike, FL: Is John Wall the No. 1 pick in 2010 Draft. He was awesome at the Hoop Summit game. SportsNation Chad Ford: He was awesome and he'll compete with Ed Davis and a few other freshmen for that. However, there is some buzz that Wall believes he might be eligible for THIS year's draft. I've been doing some digging and will be filing a story later today. The short rub is this: Wall is a 5th year senior and depending on how you read the collective bargaining agreement, 5th year seniors are eligible for the draft as long as the turn 19 in the calander year (Wall does). The league is taking a wait and see approach. If he declares, they'll research and make a ruling. If he does declare and is ruled eligible (two big ifs) he's a Top 5 pick in this draft. Maybe Top 3.

I think that I am more than mildly obsessed with this guy.  I think he is the best mix of Jason Williams and Steve Nash.  I think he has star appeal and an amazing celing on his game.  I am almost...
