First of all...I would just like to say that I officialy believe that the guys from ESPNU are borderline retarded. I think my favorite part of their broadcast is when they all said that OU was who they thought was going to be the leader of the Big 12 next year and how they thought Sam Bradford was so good and BLAH BLAH BLAH...Spare me the crap...OU Sucks... Hey Everyone!

I'm a new guy here to "Behind the Steel Curtain". First off, wanna congratulate you guys on the great win over San Diego! Secondly, I would just like to wish you guys luck against the Ravens!

I do have a question though. I'm a HUGE Texas Longhorn fans, and one of my favorite players is a steeler! I haven't seen anything about him, or heard about him being a starter??

Ok...so Orangebloods.com has insight on Kindle's draft grade. Does anybody have an account to Orangebloods where they can get the scoop on what it was?? I would really hate to see such a wrecking force for our Defense bolt too early in his career. As was stated before by PB, He's still somewhat raw.

Please dear god somebody bring back some good news about Kindle NOT leaving for the NFL.

Alright Horn fans, enough is enough. Unfortunatly the whole BCS thing didn't work out the way we wanted to...now we get back to business with OUR football team.

I have to say, after reading some of articles and stuff around the net. It seems as though this is a Ohio State team that knows they are going up against one of the best. Their #1 linebacker seems to think we should be in the National Championship game (which he's right...). I have read several quotes from different players and coaches from OSU, and I have to say they are quite classy.

Despite Our dissapointment, this should be a fun football game to watch. We can sit around and mope about how things didn't go our way, or we can turn around, put on your lucky jersey, get your lucky beer mug or shot glass and root on our favorite college football team.

There are alot of different posts here on BON about how proud they are of this football team. I second all of them!

I will be watching that game, and I will have my lucky jersey on...Care to join me??

Watching Blake Gideon fold over this weekend like a pancake literally scared the S$*t out of me... I know that he doesn't have a concussion, but I can't find anything else on him? It looked as though he was completely knocked out for a few... He was havin a great day too...Causing a fumble and making big hits. Let's hope he has a speedy recovery

How bout Christian Scott coming in and absolutely playing bruising football?? Glad to know the Kids behind Williams and Gideon have some fire!!

Ok...Maybe this is just me...

But everytime I see Mike Leach on tv, he just looks extremely pissed off...Now I know he was upset with big12 officials last year with the Texas and TTU game...but damn son...It's good for your health to smile.

Actually now that i think about it...i don't think I would be smiling much if had to face UT's D...and Will muschamp...

Whittaker’s role

Texas offensive coordinator Greg Davis said he hopes to lean more on freshman tailback Fozzy Whittaker (14 carries, 92 yards) in future games. Although healthy, Whittaker did not play against OSU because Davis said the Cowboys used "an unbelievable amount of blitzes" that required coaches to use other tailbacks more skilled at pass protection. Asked about the state of the ground game, which still has quarterback Colt McCoy as the team’s leading rusher (412 yards, seven TDs), Davis said: "I’m still not pleased with where that is after eight games." Asked if Whittaker might provide a spark against less blitz-happy teams, Davis said: "I hope so."

This leads me to believe we will see Fozzy against Texas Tech, and believe you me...I think we need the dynamics against them. Grant it, Colt...Ship..Quan...and OBY are near unstoppable, but think about if we torch them through the air, and on the ground...

Just my thoughts, but I think this game COULD be Fozzy's coming out party. I would love it...Number 28 needs to be on that field...

From what I have seen, and from what has been written, okiestate is a decent running team. That being said, all I have seen in columns about our game with them is how Dez Howard is going to have a huge game...

Will muschamp certainly has his work cut out for him, but again we contained the Tight End from Mizzou fairly well... As for OkieStates Rushing attack...

If i'm not mistaken we have the number 2 run defense in the country (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/ncaa/stats/2008/divia/team/index.html)

Teams are only averaging 48.1 yards a game against us. Now, Hunter might be one hell of a running back, but I do not see him getting past lammar Houston, Roy Miller, Kindle and Orakpo very often...

As for Zac Robinson, The jury is still out. He hasn't really seen a defense like ours yet. Anylist talk about how gritty their D is so on and so forth. What about are D...We just held one of the most potent offenses in the country to a 35 - 0 blanking in the first half... I'm pretty sure our D can stand up to Zac Robinson, not to mention, They Practice against the best QB in the nation EVERYDAY. I'm positive they will be able to contain Robinson. Kindle, I assure you, has Robinson's number...

I'm so excited to be able to sit back here in Georgia, and listen to SEC fans bitch about how over rated we are, and how we don't deserve to be there...I look at them, smile, than prouldly start singing "The eyes of texas are upon you"
