Steve Smith wants 4 more years


Granted, this is from the CO, but I think it's safe. For the record he doesn't say anything about a contract; but rather, he says he feels he can play at a high level for four more seasons. This confirms what a lot here on CSR have been saying. We want to see Smitty's contract extended to ease the salary cap and most importantly lock up (arguably) the greatest Panther of all time for the rest of his career. Only thing left is to get this man his SB ring!!!

This was too good not to post. John Fox is being praised for being flexible. I'm surprised the reporter didn't catch or make any comments about him being forced out of his last job for not being flexible (of course, that would require a reporter to have knowledge about what they were reporting on). Either way, here's to you John Fox -- good luck moving forward (until you play the Panthers that is)
