Back-to-Back...again and again...and again
Whose excited for the Back-to-Back Bonanza!?
via i56.tinypic.com
Mateen isnt too happy about all of this:
I know I'm excited, got DIrectv and spent the whole day (yesterday) looking for FSD and FSD+
I think we'll do surprisingly well this month, but I'm sure most of us are probably more excited about the
rapidly approaching trade deadline though....of course you are...Mateen is (see pic above)..they're tears of joy now.
That mightve been his original intention.
T-mac
Read This article earlier about T-mac
the part that stands out most is the last sentence
"McGrady, 31, is open to returning to Detroit. He said he just wants to be somewhere he feels comfortable."
I know its been asked on here before, but after reading that
do you think the pistons should consider resigning him?
or should they just go a head and showcase him some more before using him as trade bait.
My Birthday
Today is my Birthday...awesome, born on the same day as Chuck Norris
(Chuck Norris is reborn a full grown man every day)
I really dont have anything else to talk about
but I will say I have been enjoying my time here on DBB
I dont post much, but I'm always reading, I like to read yall comments during the game
and the Red Panda stuff never gets old and always cracks me up
Looking forward to tonights game and tuning in to your commentary
which will be needed cause my cable is off and i havent mastered the art of stealing cable

I was thinking about this video for no apparent reason a few days ago, just wanted to see who everyone thought had the best impersonation. Me personally, I'll have to go with Aaron because the thing he was doing with his hand, while saying "Brook".
Trade Machine, Pistons get Carmelo

Doesn't float your boat?, post your proposal
in other news, T-mac quote of the day:
“At this point in my career, 14 years, it’s a competition. You come off the bench – if that’s what it is, that’s what it is. I’m just ready to play basketball, y’all. Seriously. That’s what I wake up thinking about. That’s what I love to do. For these last two years, I’ve been kind of alienating my family a little bit because I’ve been fighting so hard to get back.”
alienated his family? wow

Punked on April Fools!
"After years of pulling april fools jokes on my wife and assistant.. They got me back.. Big time.. I thought I was doing an interview for the 2012 para olympic games. I never saw this coming.. They got me good this year….Enjoy your boy T-MAC getting punked."--Tracy McGrady--www.t-mac.com
i guess this will be your t-mac fix for the night
Tis' The End?
"Now that the NBA has sliced $4 million off of the Washington Wizards' salary cap this year due to the suspensions of Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton. So now the team only needs to get rid of $4 million or $5 million more to get under the salary cap, so it's looking more and more like the team is going to ditch Caron Butler before the Feb. 18 trading deadline, according to NBA.com.
The rumor is that the team has offers from the Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets and will likely decide on one by week's end. However, the Wizards may want any team taking Butler to also take Mike James or DeShawn Stevenson in order to clear up some more cash.
The Wizards apparently want a younger player in the deal, which means the Mavs would need to include rookie guard Rod Beaubois. The Rockets have young guard Kyle Lowry and an expiring contract in forward Luis Scola Tracy McGrady."
I doubt the Rox will give up anyone other than T-mac, unless its B. Cook, but i do think the Wizards will eventually bite by the end of the week cause i know they'd rather have T-mac's expiring contract rather than what Dallas has to offer
Interesting
I dont know if anyone has seen this or already posted it, but apparently the Timberwolves want to move Al Jefferson, im not sure if the salaries match up to something the rockets may want to do, or whatever, but the Rox can always use some size, and 25 year old Jefferson isnt too bad. not sure what else to say...but i must haz 75 werdz!....so how bout those Fort Wayne Mad Ants (NBDL Team)...smoking!
