The Return of Raiderville
Now here's a real home-grown tradition. Another stat (not an intangible) -- Texas Tech has never lost a "Raiderville" game (Texas in 2008 and Oklahoma in 2009). Wonder if Tubs will feed the folks out there this year? Apparently Pat Knight is supposed to bring a generator out later this week.
Graham Harrell is Carrying the Final Torch for Tech Leach-era QBs
"I feel I'm now carrying the flag for those guys and for Coach Leach, because I'm the last of the true Leach guys. Hopefully I can make it and give his era some credibility at this level."
Photoshop A Raider
The picture of Potts on the front page today was too easy. Although Coach Brown looks a little too happy and laid back to be Frodo. Feel free to stop whatever you're doing at work / home and put your favorite Texas Tech players, coaches, administrators, and/or helicopter dads faces in interesting situations, or post some oldies.

Top 10 Games in the Mike Leach Era
Mike Leach coached 127 games at Texas Tech from 2000 to 2009, winning 84 and losing 43. Texas Tech was 47-33 in conference during that time, never had a losing season, had 8 seasons of 8 or more wins, was bowl eligible every season, and was 6-4 in those bowl games. Mike Leach is the winningest coach in Texas Tech football history, both in regular season and post-season play. Let's take a look back at 10 great games from the last 10 years.

The Colt McCoy Doomsday Scenario
I sort of enjoyed hearing that the term "Colt McCoy Doomsday Scenario" existed. Remember, people: Review your Colt McCoy Doomsday Disaster Recovery manuals yearly - it's not if disaster strikes, it's when.

SI College All-Decade Team
Texas Tech's very own Michael Crabtree were placed on the SI All-Decade team! Wes Welker also made the team as a punt return man. Pretty cool to have TWO guys on their All-Decade team.
All-Leach Texas Tech Football Team
It's been 10 great years of Leach. Who would you pick for your squad if you could put a team together from any of the players who have played under Leach at Tech?
I'd figure you have to at least have Graham Harrell, Michael Crabtree, and Wes Welker as locks. Alex Trlica or Matt Williams kicking PATs? Who is on the offensive and defensive line? Secondary? Who's your RB? Baron Batch, Shannon Woods, or someone else?

Which team does not belong in the top 25?
Can you figure out which team looks out of place? Hint, their team name rhymes with "Shooners".
Oh, and Houston got spanked by UTEP 58-41, knocking them down... 14-ish pegs. Which hopefully will quiet all the UH "fans" here in Houston about the Tech game... and makes me glad we don't play UTEP this year.
Tech still getting no love from pollsters, not that we deserve much.
