20 year old college student who's obsessed with all things baseball, and probably has the least confidence in his Mets until they make it to the World Series? That about sums me up. Oh, and I'm a massive D-Rays fan as well.

DMB League looking for owners
There is a DMB league (including players that aren't in the simulation) that is looking for some new blood in the league. It had begun once, and folded, and is now restarting. There is roughly nine teams still available, all at least a few good players on them.
There is also the possibility of teams (who want to) being able to push their whole team into a redraft to redistribute the talent and allow the team to really be "your own."
If interested contact me at metsman128@gmail.com and I'll send you the list of teams left, link to the league's message board/web site and further information.
The league includes 50 players on rosters, including 25 active players. Players also have assigned salaries, although the current salary cap is around $120 million based on real salaries, so there's not many teams that would be above the cap.
Again, contact me at metsman128@gmail.com for more information. Thanks guys.

Prospect advice
Hey guys,
I don't post on here much but I'm looking for some advice on a trade. Granted these guys are merely throw-ins, but it's better than the free agent talent in the SIM league I'm in. Which do you think have the most upside and best chance of doing well in the bigs (or even get there in the first place):
Adam Cowart (AA - Giants) P
Daniel McCutchen (AAA - Yankees) P
Kelvin De La Cruz (High A - Indians) P
Jose Vallejo (High A - Rangers) 2B
I'm leaning towards the bottom three, however I only get two out of these four. If you were me and had no holes for the immediate future, who would you take?
Thanks again

Daryl Thompson
So I was browsing over Reds prospect Daryl Thompson down in AA today. He's got an absurdly low ERA and had 11 k's in his last start (although he got the loss due to shoddy defense....of his 6 runs allowed this year, only 2 have been earned).
What's his future look like? Where does he fit in with the rotation the Cincy has right now? Can he keep this up? Is he worth paying attention to more closely?
Any input would be appreciated.

Is Matt Tolbert for real?
I feel a bit biased because I'm from the Rochester area where the Red Wings (Twins AAA) play, but every day in the box scores I see Tolbert getting hits left and right.
His average is outta this world now that he just went 5-5 w/ 2 2B and 2 rbi today, to where he is now hitting .379 (albeit he was hurt for two weeks, so that 5 for 5 pushed him up there from .351).
Is this all one big fluke of a year for him? He didn't even make John's book, he hit well in high A last year, but was only alright in AA, and now he's very impressive in AAA. What can you make of this?
