Apparently the Dbacks just offered a contract to Kelly Johnson for $2 million and will be hearing back within the next couple of days

My personal opinion is that this would be a pretty good deal...Even though Johnson is coming off a bad year, much of that appears to be BABIP-induced, and thus he appears to be due for a positive regression. If his BABIP next year is around .300 then his OPS should be fairly close to .800

I don't really understand much about defensive metrics, but based on UZR it improved significantly last year
