We lose our best pitcher who also would give us more innings per start than the rest of the staff and meant less innings for this shaky bullpen. Without him they are cooked.  Let's not forget Boston hasn't had Schilling for the entire season, no Dice-K for almost 3 weeks Buchhoolz was bad, and Wakefield had been shaky until running off three solid starts in a row. And Boston is 10--4 without David Ortiz  and still has plenty of offense to back up one of the best staff's in the league.

The bottom line is that the Yankee's team ERA with Wang in the rotation is 4.27 and the Red Sox are at 3.83. We now subtract Wang and they'll soon add Dice-K. WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR.
