Interesting article. I dont think it means a whole lot since Donovan reportedly scored a 14 on the wonderlic test but still a pretty good read.

Faith Hill recently shot her opening to NBC's "Sunday Night Football" at a studio in Hollywood. Shot at the studio were scenes of the Bears' Brian Urlacher pinballing his way through the columns at Soldier Field (and cracking one with a mighty collision), the Eagles' DeSean Jackson running to the top of the famed "Rocky" steps, the Vikings' Adrian Peterson sprinting past ice fishermen on a frozen lake and Freeney swim-moving his way through a cornfield. Among the other players who will be featured are Peyton and Eli Manning, Larry Fitzgerald, Hines Ward, Tony Romo, DeMarcus Ware, Drew Brees, Charles Woodson and Ray Lewis.

McNabb and Vincent Jackson possibly on the same team?

"One thing we did find out Wednesday is that Jackson has been working out with Redskins QB Donovan McNabb, per NFL.com senior writer Steve Wyche. "

Pretty interesting article with all 32 QB's ranked (Kolb comes in at 11, ahead of Mcnabb, Eli and Flacco) and other lists/rankings. Pretty good read.

Cowboys inside linebacker Keith Brooking talked to us on Dallas-Fort Worth's 103.3 FM ESPN this afternoon. Here's some of the audio. I asked a couple questions on your behalf and we got Brooking fired up about Eagles tight end Brent Celek. You might recall that Celek told us two months ago that he was looking forward to playing Brooking based on some of the comments he made about the Eagles' offense. We relayed some of those comments to Brooking today, and here's what he said in response: "Oh, he’ll find me, I promise," Brooking said of Celek. "You can print that one. He won’t have to look for me very hard... He can jump in the middle of our huddle, if he’s that bad."

Inspired by JimmyK's Kolb post, here is a college highlight video. This was my first time watching it and thought everyone would want to see it. First thing you notice is KK is actually a pretty mobile QB.

"(Graham's) looking good. I like his style of play and I like his attitude about things and we like to have people like that on our team. And especially in my opinion, I love the aggressiveness so I'm pretty excited to have him, a new addition to the team. We're going to welcome him and welcome the rest of the guys coming in here as well too." -Trent Cole Makes you like Graham if Trent Cole is saying he's aggressive.

Kolb is a fantasy sleeper

3. Kevin Kolb, Eagles Kolb is a major sleeper in fantasy circles as the top signal-caller on the Eagles' depth chart. Aside from his own upside and the talent around him on offense, Kolb also has a very favorable schedule. Games against the Giants (2), Bears, Lions, Vikings, Jaguars, Titans and Falcons should help him produce some very attractive stat lines.

Westbrook has physical with Rams

I think Westy and Steven Jackson would make for a good RB combo.

I like the sound of this

"Philly desperately wants a star pass-rushing bookend with Pro Bowl DE Trent Cole, and they may have one in Graham, who dominated at the Senior Bowl and beat the stuffing out of another first-rounder Bryan Bulaga at Iowa. Still, if Andy Reid can't score a Taylor Mays-caliber safety in the second round, those Iggles fans will remind him daily of the pair of third-round picks he sent away." I like hearing about how he beat Bulaga, especially since the Packers are our week 1 opponents and Bulaga is in charge of keeping Rogers upright.

A man wearing a Donovan McNabb Eagles jersey held up a bank in Northeast Philadelphia Tuesday and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.

Reid's not scared

4

"Coach Reid knows what Donovan's limitations are.'' -- Former Eagles tackle Jon Runyan, on Sirius NFL Radio, asked why Philadelphia coach Andy Reid would deal McNabb within the division. To be fair, Runyan didn't say this as a shot at McNabb. He said it simply to acknowledge that any coach who would trade a quarterback to a rival he plays twice a year would certainly know how to attack that quarterback and be comfortable that the quarterback would have an Achilles heel the old team would be able to exploit. That is why the trade is so fascinating, even a week later. - Peter King

Kolb is 16th best starting QB in NFL? Isnt that a bit premature?

What do you guys think? Who do you think should be ahead of Kolb?

Andrew Perloff predictions

2. Kolb will throw for at least 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns this season. Those numbers may sound gaudy, but 10 quarterbacks threw for that many yards last season and a lot of them didn't play in systems that pass nearly as much as the Eagles. Kolb threw for 391 yards and 327 yards in his two starts last season and he'll be able to string together several 300-yard games.

Just because Jackson is signed and delivered doesn’t mean the Eagles are finished addressing their secondary. I’m told that secondary coach Dick Jauron is in Piscataway, N.J., today at Rutgers University’s Pro Day. Rutgers cornerback Devin McCourty [pictured left] is considered a first-round prospect.

Bucs really want Suh

7

Get ready for the onslaught on rumors, speculation and sourced stories involving the Rams dealing their No. 1 overall pick to Tampa Bay. It's no secret the Rams need a quarterback and they are believed to have an interest in trading for one of the Philadelphia Eagles three signal callers -- Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb or Michael Vick. St. Louis also will consider drafting Oklahoma's Sam Bradford, who will hold a private workout March 25. But the latest trade scenario includes a Bucs quarterback. Foxsports.com is reporting the Bucs and Rams have discussed a deal that would send Tampa Bay's No. 3 overall pick, a third rounder and quarterback Josh Johnson to St. Louis in exchange for the No. 1 overall selection. It doesn't necessarily mean the Rams view Johnson as their potential starter in 2010. But it may indicate that Johnson, who went 0-4 as a starter last season, has some trade value.

Westbrook's little bro gets a DUI

6

Washington Redskins cornerback Byron Westbrook(notes) was arrested early Friday and charged with driving under the influence. Charles County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Diane Richardson said Westbrook, 25, was pulled over about 2 a.m. on Route 5 at Lakewood Place after a deputy saw a Mercedes cross the center line several times. Richardson said the deputy smelled alcohol and administered field sobriety tests. She said Westbrook, the brother of Eagles running back Brian Westbrook(notes), failed and was arrested. Byron Westbrook has been charged with driving under the influence, driving while intoxicated, negligent driving and failure to drive right of center. He was released on personal recognizance. A message was left seeking comment from Westbrook’s agent. "We take these issues very seriously," Redskins general manager Bruce Allen said in an e-mail. "Moving forward, we plan to meet with Byron and will continue to monitor the situation." Westbrook, who signed with Washington in May 2007 as an undrafted free agent, played in 15 games last season. He spent his first two seasons on the Redskins’ practice squad.

A Cowboys fan perspective on our QB situation

12

I had the displeasure to spend the day in Philadelphia today. Sports talk radio focused on baseball, but they did take their opportunity to express their desire to move past the Donovan McNabb era. I FULLY SUPPORT THEIR DESIRE! I know McNabb isn’t the best QB in the league, but he certainly has given the Cowboys trouble over the years. Even when the Cowboys beat the Eagles, McNabb escapes countless number of sacks and prolongs plays. Currently the Eagles have Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick on their roster and both are signed through the end of 2010 season. I don’t believe their is a clamoring for Vick to take over as a full-time QB, but Kolb played well in his stints when McNabb was out with a rib injury. I won’t prognosticate on how Kolb will turnout – he could be good, or he could be just plain awful. Kolb played very well in 2009, logging 391 and 327 yard passing in his two games as starter. Here’s what everyone ignores, those games were against the Saints and the Chiefs. The Saints had a fast start and began the season 13-0. Their defense was susceptible to giving up large chunks of yards at a time in the passing game, finishing as the 26th best passing defense in the league. As for the Chiefs, they were the 22nd best passing defense in the league and they improved greatly over the last half of the season. Kolb played them in the 3rd week of the season when the Chiefs were simply a mess. So why will I be using my birthday wish to make Eagles fans elated? Because Kolb is the cute girl at the end of the bar who is giving the "sexy eyes". It’s all potential and zero substance. Kolb played well against two questionable defensive passing teams. In the previous year against a good defense, Baltimore, Kolb threw for 73 yards, less than 50% completion rate, and 2 interceptions. I’ll give him a pass as it was his first start, but if I were the GM of the Eagles, I would not fall in love with the unknown, or at the very least, unproven.

Gesturing toward Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson, who was a Cal freshman in 2005 – the year after Rodgers turned pro – the quarterback said, "Can you imagine if I’d stayed at Cal my senior year, and played with that guy? We’d have been sick."

McNabb: Psychic told me I'm staying with Eagles

+

For a quarterback whose future with the Eagles has been the subject of much speculation, Donovan McNabb looked awfully relaxed and carefree with the media at the NFC's first Pro Bowl practice yesterday morning. He reiterated that he is confident he will stay with the Eagles. Later, holding court for another 10 minutes at the hotel, he was pressed on how he could be so sure. "I have a psychic and she told me; she said, 'Good things are to happen in Philadelphia and it's going to be really good for you,' " McNabb said while doing his best Jamaican psychic impersonation. " 'Just relax. You'll get what you need.' " Philadelphia Daily News
